I'm an Automaton, That's Right!

I noticed how the switch on the wall functioned like a breaker switch from my world. Curious, I asked Asfi.

"Hey, Asfi… isn't this switch…"

"…Please do not disturb any equipment within this building, Zal. If the central panel is also affected, you'll alarm the innkeeper."

"Oops. Well, sorry. I'm just curious. So, what is this switch?"

"It's a sphere circuit breaker. It's a safety hardware to prevent overwhelming current to the sphere lamps in this room."

My eyebrows quickly rose. It IS an MCB!

In electrical engineering, Miniature Circuit Boards or MCBs are those switches on the wall that work automatically when excessive electric current flows through the circuit. They mostly act as safety tool, just like Asfi said.

I'm curious about it… let's see if it IS an MCB.

"Hm, is it going to flip down on its own when a certain current level is reached?" I asked again.
