The red-haired girl frozen in place, disbelieving at what she just heard.
"A-Are you serious? It's… i-i-it's not a dream, is it?"
"It's real," Gregory nodded. "Or what? You wanna stay here forever?"
"Eep… n-no, of course not!"
As the key turned and the cell pulled open, the young girl trudged outside. Her lightless eyes immediately turned towards mine. I greeted her freedom with a soft smile.
"Yo, Tia. Did I make you wait, kid?"
Her eyes reflected the shine from the torches. Light returned to her tiny red eyes. That confused stare softened into relieved eyes. Her muscles shifted her entire body on their own, instantly jumping and hugging me.
"Mr. Zaaaaal!!!"
"Whoa-oh!"
"I'm… I'm so glad that you truly returned…! Thank you…"
"Heh… I told you, didn't I? I would find a way to free you."
"Hee-hee… you really did!"
