Forming a Counterattack

With so many "minefields" in every corner by Vector Tarte, it prevented the knight captain from performing any significant actions to fight her. However, as of now, I got an idea that hopefully could turn the tide to our favor.

"I'd say you two should continue the act."

"Pardon me beforehand, what do you mean by that, Sir Zal?"

"As I said, you gentlemen should keep putting the act as if nothing ever happened. In other words, pretend that no truth has ever come out. The fox lady still thinks that you two are still chained to her fingers."

"Are you implying that we really should prolong this play, Sir Zal?" James asked, squinting his eyes. "Wicked as she is, that woman still has an intelligent mind. She will find out what we've been hiding eventually."

"Agreed," Aira nodded. "You should not make light of the Vectors, Sir Zal."

"I know. Our opponent is a hardy one. That's why I'm asking you two to stall some time by keeping up the façade."
