That Evening in the Port City (Part 1)

After a long ride far from Batustone, we managed to catch up with Eric and James in these sloped terrains. They rode on horseback, alight with a lantern to mark their position during the dark and cold evening.

"Bloody hell," the knight captain remarked as he saw me on our carriage. "It's great to see you, Sir Zal."

"To you as well," I said, halting my horses.

"Hi there, Guildmaster!" Tia waved from the back of the wagon. "And uhh, Sir Eric, too."

"I see you have finished your business, Tia. Glad to see you in high spirits."

"Of course! We're going to do something big tonight. I gotta keep my eyes wide open."

"Mm. Glad to hear that," Sir James turned to me. "If things go according to plan, sir, Aira, Alnom, and Sir Tareth should've arrived in the city."

Indeed. Previously, I instructed those two to go ahead to Samasa so that they could scout the city, all the while initiating my plan.
