Limping through the road, Tarte retried summoning her wonderful creation several times, but alas, to no avail. That giant armor never came to her aid. A blackening thought invaded her mind, but she brushed it off right away.

"Why… Why Bedivere did not respond to me? What is going on out there…?"

Earlier, at the area near the main gate of Batustone.

The automaton giant had caused a ton of damage. However, as per Eric's strategy, templars, knights and adventurers managed to reduce casualties to minimum. With lights casted from clerics that shined the dark night, they evaded the rampaging metal when it charged and had mages cast earthen walls to impede its movement. When immobilized, together they united to attack the mechanized creature. It was an effective strategy.
