Rynn's Warning

The purple-haired woman named Rynn Hauberk introduced herself to us in a noble decorum. In return, I also introduced myself and the team to her.

"A pleasure to meet you, too. I am Zal. And this is Asfi and this kid here is Tia."

"Hiya!"

"Pleased to make your acquaintance, Lady Hauberk."

Rynn got startled, waving her hands, and shaking her head frantically, "No, no, no! I, I have no right to be treated with such honor!"

"Then, can we call you Miss Rynn?" Tia smiled, not giving a care about the tensing air around the young woman.

"U-Uhm… Just Rynn is f-fine…"

"Oh, okay, then! Nice to meet you, Rynn!"

"Y-Yeah…"

Rynn was shaking in her shoes. I swore I could feel her presence dissipating to a dust. She was hanging on a thin thread. One more sting of spirited words would make her pop. I needed to check my choice of words when speaking to her.

"Ahem! So, if you don't mind me asking, what are you doing here in Avaros, Rynn?"
