In the Floyd Group's meeting room in Misurton, Callum was sitting in the main seat, while Thomas was sitting next to him. Both of them were focused on the huge display screen in the conference room as they listened to the manager of each department making their mid-year business reports.
In the past half a year, the Misurton company made rapid progress, and its performance was beyond Callum's imagination.
He was in an extremely good mood after hearing the reports, and pat Thomas' shoulder after the meeting, "Good job! I knew you were reliable!"
Thomas smiled and said, "Thank you, Boss! But I can't take this credit alone. The success we have today is the whole team's effort."
Thomas's humility gave Callum an even better impression of him. When he returned to the office, he called his assistant, "Invite the managers of all departments to have dinner with me in the evening. It will be my treat."
