Valeria was thinking to herself when Thomas sent her a message. "Valeria, I'm sorry about what happened just now. I'm apologizing on behalf of Evelyn!"
"Mr. Gurney, what do you mean by this?" Valeria asked.
"Evelyn was just spouting a lot of inappropriate nonsense. She has been abroad for a long time, so she has a completely different behaviour from us and she doesn't care much about others. Don't take it to heart."
Valeria frowned. How could a person who lived abroad develop such an unscrupulous personality and flirt with someone else's husband in front of them? Was this something a dignified person would do?
She asked unhappily, "Mr. Gurney, what's the relationship between you and Miss Gurney?"
