In the meantime, in Ornard's villa, Aurora was playing with Santhos in the living room. Ornard was sitting on the sofa as he looked at Aurora and Santhos with a satisfied smile on his face.
Aurora was seated on the carpet as she completed a piece of the puzzle for Santhos. She glanced at the time and lowered her voice. "Why hasn't she come back yet at this hour? Do you know what she was doing?"
"Don't worry about what she does!" Ornard replied casually.
"How can we possibly ignore her? She lives here. If she doesn't come back, you have to at least ask questions, don't you?"
"She is not a helpless three-year-old child. She'll come back on her own if she wants to." Ornard didn't care about Veronica at all. His gaze fell on Aurora's young and beautiful face.
He said meaningfully, "It's nice that she isn't back, lest she gets in our way at home. It's inconvenient for us to get together with her here!"
