37. History lesson on Triton

[Third Person POV]

The space whale analyzed the statue in front of him, and the Astrodelphii were exploring the surrounding, letting their God do his very important God thing.

'Huh… now where is the real one? ', the space whale wondered, two of his eye were studying the statue while the other four did the same but with the underwater city, he ordered the Flock to do the same as the Astrodelphii.

It was made with efficiency in mind, everything was made with the idea of self sufficiently but its visibility wasn't able to resist time, especially its inhabitants.

There were hundreds of thousands of pods made to fit Astrodelphii but none of the latter were here. Making the place eerie.

Half of the building showed traces of deterioration but it was impressive that it was only some superficial deterioration.

Only things such as faded paint, random scratches, and slightly tilted buildings took into account that it was more than 65 million years old. The energy was still running making the city glow a soft sky blue color.

The entire hive mind momentarily froze, every being connected to Caelicetus at that moment felt their body and mind stop working.

On Earth Madison was also affected, she was drinking her hot chocolate when it happened, and her body started to shake with a bowl full of boiling hot chocolate in hand.

The shaking started to make the chocolate spill all over her face, body, and blue pajama. The hot chocolate hardly made her react as it strangely didn't hurt her in any way, it was in fact only slightly warm.

[Eve=_t&>ñg iß al=i/t& cal? døxn.](Everything is alright calm down.)

She heard the strange reassuring and extraordinarily powerful superposition of three aliens and clearly distinct voices speaking in perfect unison, in her mind.

Her nose started to bleed just after, but her blood was with a neon blue tint, instead of simply dark red. The connection was then cut, but her shaking didn't stop.

"Madi?! Sweetheart! Are you alright!", her mother cried out, running in panic to her daughter. She took the bowl out of the little girl, ignoring the pain as it spewed on her hands.

'Epilepsy fit!? But… but… She never had… no. No, that is not the time for this kind of question!', she rapidly analyzed the situation and immediately caught her daughter falling from her chair.

With difficulty, Emma placed her daughter with extreme care on the carpeted floor, then took the chair away. She was staring helplessly and in panic at her daughter currently convulsing on the soft carpet.

She didn't know what was going on or if doing anything more might worsen things, it looked like an epilepsy fit. So she took the immediate measure of safety for this kind of situation.

Madison then suddenly stopped moving, Emma felt her heart until she saw her daughter's chest going up and down while she started to snore. Madison just fell asleep.

Her mother sighed in relief, she then strolled closer and crouched with tears in her eyes.

She took a handkerchief from her pocket and started to clean her daughter's nosebleed, the most worrying part… and it was of a strange color.

'I urgently need to sleep… my daughter having blue blood, presumptuous.', Emma thought, brushing it off at her lack of sleep.

And that it was her imagination, she didn't remember the last time she had a full night's sleep, or really slept at all these last few days for that matter.

She delicately picked up the sleeping form of her daughter in her arms, as if Madison was going to break at any moment.

Ten minutes later Emma looked at her daughter sleeping in bed, she was changed and they were in the little girl's room, the walls were filled with posters of whales and moths.

Back to Caelicetus who felt the connection but couldn't care less at the moment, even with his message the entirety of the Astrodelphii were scarred, not for their life but if something bad happens to their God.

Caelicetus hammered in their thick skull of their that he wasn't that powerful in the grand scheme of things. And that they were simply big fish in a small pond, without even knowing if the pond was not bigger than they expected.

Also that any potential threat to their existence should never in any case be considered lightly and be underestimated. For very obvious reasons. A good enemy is a dead enemy.

The brief shutdown of the hive mind was a very good justification for panic as the heart making it work is Caelicetus himself.

It's shutting down mostly equal to the space whale's death or that something grave happened to him. Or that he decided to do this for shit and giggles which he would never do.

Mass hysteria after the hive mind came back on was expected and Caelicetus forcefully calmed down everyone.

The cause for this was in front of one member of the Flock, it was a status of an Astrocetus, his Mom. He briskly warped to its location, cutting a piece of building as he did so.

The next instant he was in the center of the city. The statue was real-lifesized, it was three times bigger than him. He appeared like a small child in comparison

He technically is a child, a stupidly powerful one but still one. Something he usually didn't think much but it was quite flagrant here.

The space whale knew it was a statue but it was hyperrealistic, so much so that it triggered a powerful instinctual response as a part of him truly believed it was his Mom.

'Yes as I thought… a statue with the use of technology to make it even more realistic.', he thought, disappointed and slightly sad. Those feeling rapidly disappeared as he began to explore this area.

All around the state of Terracetus, Caelicetus' mother was four metallic pillars decorated with sculpture.

Those pillars were respectively aimed at each of the cardinal points of Triton, the structure supporting those pillars could rearrange itself when the cardinal point changed.

Those writings and sculptures described the creation of this universe, the first Astrocetus, the discovery of the universe, the creation of different species, exploration of other universes.

The first encounter between the Ghidorah and Astrocetus that surprisingly didn't end up in a bloodbath, and other encounters with space-faring civilizations that ended most of the time badly for the latter.

One of the first meetings ended with a calf killed and her heart taken and used as a way to travel through hyperspace.

It could warp the entire planet the size of Jupiter away, of course, it was only used one of two times. It wasn't enough to escape the wrath of the mother.

It wasn't the only one, others particularly aimed at the young one, it was suicidal but they didn't care. Those civilizations that did have successful hunts were soon completely eradicated but that didn't stop others from trying. Far from it.

A juvenile Astrocetus' heart has the capacity to infinitely generate energy as long as it's best and generate gravity that could be controlled with certain tools, and this is just some of its peculiarity.

The creation of the first Astrodelphis was soon followed by billions of years-long war between the Astrocetus and Ghidorah caused due to the rising tension between the two species, it caused death and devastation on both sides.

It ended with the strange Ghidorah he saw on Venus sealed in another universe made by the remaining Astrocetus and the first Astrocetus, Caelicetus noted that it had twelve eyes and not fourteen.

This universe/dimension created was the definition of hell, insanity, and madness. It was a broken mess where everything was real and not the same, thoughts, dreams, and nightmares became real and at the same time nothingness and insanity.

Left, right, up, down, space, time, creation, destruction, life, death, etc didn't have any real meaning inside.

It was made to transform whoever went inside into a mindless lumbering mess of insanity and nothingness.

Caelicetus could somehow read the strange symbol and text written and he was unconsciously murmuring them.

He could also recognize some of them, he recognized Desghidorah, a familiar three-headed dragon with one of the heads having the same crescent broken horn on the statue he saw earlier.

This dragon later lost two heads, forever, becoming the same as the statue. This dragon seemed to also be considered as an ally compared to the status of mortal enemies its brethren had

Some of the parts were missing, the one to blame probably being time and everything must be taken with a grain of salt.

Still, Caelicetus didn't know how he should about what he just learned, even for him. It was a bit much as it entailed so many things.

One of his eyes looked down to bulge out as he saw the floor opening to reveal what he believed was 'Lady Io'. He didn't do anything rash as the white dragon was connected to tubes and cables and in a sort of praying posture, alimenting the city…

And it seemed to be of her own free will?
