Sacrifice To The Fire god[Auro Of The Nine.]

After a couple of hours passed by, the sun was beginning to set in the east as it depicts the agenda for the forbidden law of [Backward Ichist] the backward ichist was the last man standing as a formiddable immortal which was elated by the gods. His most powerful aspect ability was the power to turn thing on reverse or should I say that, they were created backwards...

The movement of nature slightly changed and now this was the happening going on till date. There might be a stop to it, but no was able to figure it out, not now.

The sky was now radiating with purple and crimson shade, depicting its floral brimmer and the tell of the oncoming night. The Fallen Calamity [Hawk of Doom] was slowly falling back into its deep slumber once again. It really had such a long day destroying and snacking on abominations while satiating its hunger that held it for twenty years. Instantly, the fallen calamity [Hawk of Doom] turned its head to face the hollow part of the mountain ebbed in a downward slope. Blake froze immediately realising that the creature was looking his way. It's head was so scary and had a protruding mass of dark horns and insidous spikes forming. A scaly scalp covering its skin in a texture of a touch chitin. Its eyes were scarlette in color and obvious burning precisely with madness.

Have it seen him?

Well, if it had then it might want to destroy the mountain.

The creature opened its maw and a terrifying shriel and stressing growl resounded as if it was a very loud high pitched scream. The tail of the creature raised instantly and shook the Linards Mountain just metres away from him, and pieces of the mountain shards rained down in a swift motion. Blake was mysteriously taken aback by the force of the clash and he rolled downwards to avoid coming down along with the debris and he rolled all the way back into the cave and was pushed against the wall jolting the witches who lay asleep on their back. The cave suddenly shook, but they knew too well, that the Linards Mountains cannot be destroyed but still, its ravendous clashing still penetrated deep into the cave and the candle light which had been burning for centuries, started to bounce out of its position on the short wooden table. And then, it toppled and landed on the dark circular platform which looked like a bizzaire alter and the next minute, a whoosing flames was sent above. The alter was set with an essentries whereby immaculate gateway is formed. Like a runes or an assimilating portal but right now, the alter seemed to be burning high up on flames.

'What the...'

The eerie looking flames danced in dark red and blue lights promising to kill its captive. Right now, it was as if the burning flames have a mind of its own because, when the trio decided that their next move was to leave the cave, the flames suddenly circled around them. And within minutes, high flames sealed the entrance and Blake's eyes widened.

"I think I know what's happening.." Blake started.

"What, how do we get out of here?" Evie asked.

"I think we angered the Fire god." Blake said and Evie sighed.

"So, this was the Fire gods alter? Who would leave such a sacred place so exposed." Tera asked.

"Did you not see the flames burning in that lamp, it was the eternal flames. The eternal flame is quite tricky because I really did not know that it was the Fire god, but the moment the flames got up, I discovered. Now it wants to punish us for awakening it." Blake said as he pondered what to do to save the situation right now.

"When did we awaken it?"

Evie screamed and Blake stared for a while at the lamp which lay motionlessly.

"We didn't. The Fallen Calamity did. It only punished us because he couldn't unleash its anger on the creature." Blake answered though, he wasn't sure if his theology was wrong but he had a haunch it could be related. What ever he was missing would definitely come to be revealed sooner or real.

The flames suddenly surged wildly and the entire place began to radiate with intense heat. The primitive heat was enough to cook an entire nation and Tera's hand suddenly glimmered with silver only to be stopped by Evie. She had always had that mentality, the first solution to every problem was to use their magic. But seems like Evie was well experienced than her when it comes to realising that some times, magic isn't relevant.

"gods are supersensitive to magic. You might anger them even more if discovered."

The lights quickly vanished after listening to Evie's spleen advice as they turned to look at Blake. Right now, he looked calm but stil had that expression of a grim reaper and then he turned to face Evie.

"Evie, get the lamp burning."

Evie's eyes strailed to the lampholder that looked like a small can of opelette makeshift. The scapold lamp and then stared at the weaves which protruded out of a clear hole and then she picked it up.

Thrusting her hand forward, the weaves collected the light which danced fiercly like an angry god that it is.

Handing the lamp to Blake, he took it and turned to face the wall of flames shooting up like a chalrad of evil and then, he gently took a short dagger from his pouch and then sliced his hand deep that the blood started to roll down like a flowing fountain. Blake had realised that, gods do take pleasure in surprise sacrifice and that was why he decided to give it a sacrifice of his blood. Any other sacrifice is good but the blood sacrifice of a human is quite effective so Blake had no other option, that's if they have to leave the cave in full. Blake made sure that his blood touched the flames and within minutes, the flames shot out and started to deavour the remaining pool of blood greedily. It was gone, as if it disipitated into nothingness. Luckily, the fire started to decrease, its intensity growing weaker and weaker. Their sacrifice have been accepted and their sins forgiven, although they think that they really did not do anything to awaken the Fire god, or is it Blake? Because, right about then, he was the one who called the creature's attention of the creature to the Mountain. Oh, so the Fire god was indeed right because, he really did awaken it. The gods are never wrong. In no time, the fire was completely gone as if it was never there. The hot air was now instantly compiled with cold chilly air which permeated the deep confines of the cave and then, Blake gently placed the burning lamp back on the wooden table. The essenties-like gateway now visible but, there was no powering runes or energy to activate the gateway so there was no freedom right now. The immediately exited the cave without wasting any time.

The night was full and young, the creature was gone, seemingly asleep and all that could be seen was an eerie thick and dark expanse. They couldn't cross isles back because it has been destroyed. But at least, freedom presented itself right in the Vile Castle which they really needed to locate. Immediately, they started moving around the slope, avoiding the parts the creature had pierced and almost destroyed. And then, going on to climb the mountain.

The Linards Mountain was well shaped and narrowly ardous which gave them easy climbing because, slabs shot out on the body of the mountain which they hold onto while trying to climb.
