"I never thought there could be such a comfortable bed. It seems I've been gone too long away from luxury." Fyr said as she laid on one of the beds in the quarters.

{it's nice, right?} odin's voice came from all over the ship.

"Yeah, you got to make me one. I'll pay you in anything to get this type of comfort." Fyr said as she fell asleep.

{maybe I should make tactical beds for nonlethal takedowns?} Odin said as he saw the entire group fall asleep nearly simultaneously.

In the command room, Odin unplugged and walked around. He walked towards darkness, but for him, it was a giant table. Tapping twice a warm red light shined from the table, a hologram appeared of the galaxy.

Combining his galaxy map with the Ark's map and calculating the new coordinates of the planets, he had gained a map of the current 40k galaxy. of course, this wasn't accounting for planets that were destroyed or swallowed by the rift. He was currently 8,363.4 light years away from earth, which astounded him. It was nearby after 18 thousand years shouldn't the imperium have contacted them by now?

But then again, the colony of Axis-9 existed before old night, so maybe when Slaanesh was being born during the 24 thousands they had been shifted away. If so, then this map was quite useless. Another problem was if the map was still somewhat right, they were near hive fleet leviathan.

"Many things must be done, but first I need to fill my reserves. I need to make sure I don't run out of energy. Alpha set course for the nearest star and prepare to collect its energy."

{setting course to-}

"Wait, never mind. Let us first go out and scan the region we might not even be near the star you are setting a course for." Odin said as he sat back down on the chair and plugged in.

He thought of leaving the store and soon Odin and the group were taken into interstellar space. The null void met with the ship and Odin felt as if icy hands were wrapping around him. He changed the vision to find the stars Odin did not absorb the data but Alpha did and then sent to him and he soon found a star 9 light years away.

Odin confirmed it and got ready as the warp drive was turned on. The surrounding space distorted. Time seemed to reveal itself as the warp drive started. Odin fully entered full warp drive, and he had a countdown till arrival which was 54 seconds.

After nearly a minute, they had arrived 2 light hours away from the star if anyone watched the entire event one could easily tell Odin had defied physics he went from the star of Axis-9 to a star 9 light-years away in an instant.

Odin became the opposite of light instead of traveling for years, but it felt like an instant from its departure. Odin completed the last stretch and was 10 light minutes away from the star (kinda the same as mars). Activating the energy collectors, Odin absorbed a giant solar wave and continued to fill up the reserves.

While he did this, he scanned the three planets that orbited the star, but found no life or anything to suggest there was a civilization before. The collection took half an hour after he finished, Odin flew to a planet and thoroughly scanned it.

As the scanners covered every inch of the world, Odin received a few notifications on resource locations. There was a uranium deposit that was estimated to have 10,000 tons or 41,666,666.7 big macs of uranium.

There was also an iron and lead deposit that had 1 billion tons of iron and 200,000 tons of lead. He named this world Ore for an obvious reason and then went to the other two, but found very little.

The second world only had 10,000 kilograms of zinc and the third had 5,200 kilograms of iron. He named them both zinc and iron, as he would not name the planets he found unless they truly mattered.

Landing back on Ore, he unplugged and went down. He told the A.I to not let the group outside as there was no atmosphere before he left for outside.

The grey lifeless world still gave off an exciting feeling as Odin walked around. One of his dreams was achieved, and he felt jubilant, but he controlled himself and quickly went to the iron mine. The mine was ten miles away from the ship, so Odin quickly ran and arrived in no time.

As he scanned the area himself, he placed down little markers and then retreated.

'You're clear.' Odin said to Alpha.

{3.2.1.}

The ship shot out a barrage of miniature explosives to open up the mine Odin only had 100,000 of them, but they were easy to make. It was really just TNT changed into a missile, so it required very little.

The ship fired off 1/10th of the storage and made an opening that was 39 feet in width and 29 feet in length. Odin saw some unrefined ore and started to return after taking a small sample.

"This is quite fun!" Odin said as he ran back to the ship.

Entering the research lab, Odin studied the ore before making sure it didn't have any weird curse or virus or whatever could fuck with his stuff. Odin got ready to make some miner bots. He quickly made them with the help of Alpha and had made ten after three hours. The robots were ten feet tall and weighed two tons. They had inbuilt anti-gravity storage devices so they could mine more.

They were also equipped with plasma casters and cutters for mining and defense. He sent out the ten robots and started to make a robot that would produce more miner robots.

All robots ran off Alpha, and Odin could connect with them and control them like the ship. After another hour, he had finished and went to wake the crew with a gift.
