Superhuman

[uploading data to user]

A voice sounded out in his mind. This was not the system, but something else.

In a second, a bundle of information was uploaded to his mind, and he learned the basics of artifacts.

Artifacts were the pinnacle of creation. These weapons could evolve over time and become stronger as they had received the attention of the universe. They could use a sub-system to display their abilities to their user.

The sub-system wasn't alive, but it could change to better integrate with its user. Just like how the store system appeared like a game interface, the artifact took the same form and showed its stats.

Crafted by the second demon hunter to slay demons, the angel of light later twisted it to become a holy weapon. It now stands as the anathema to good. It is called Chronostais because of the effect the handler experiences as he draws his weapon on his target, a final remembrance of a lost soul.

This weapon had been heavily modified and later sealed. Only 5 of the 555 perks remain active. Once reaching max level and ascending the weapon, a perk will be unlocked. ]

[would you like to reveal the artifact's true form?]

"Yes." Odin said as the weapon shone in light.

The gun had grown in size and length before it looked like a regular 357 magnum revolver of course its entire build was made of light and darkness that revolver together but now it was bigger than any revolver he knew it was better to say it was the bolter equivalent of revolvers.

The barrel had a length of 20 inches and had a bore of 1 inch. From end to end, it was 35.82 inches. Larger than the M4 carbine by 2 inches. But for Odin's size, it fit him well as when he first got it, the gun was tiny and easily fit in his palm.

The hand cannon shot a 1-inch bullet made of unknown materials, but they matched the same as the rest of the gun. The gun held unlimited ammo as long as Odin fed it a bit of his energy or let the gun absorb it from the surroundings.

Odin thought of using this for his other guns, but he realized he couldn't eject the cylinder to take the bullets out. Odin sighed and then looked around for the exit, but as he did, he realized he was back in his lab.

"I've been gone for a year now that I think about it. I left them without food or anything holy shit!" Odin said as he was about to run out of the lab, but was stopped by hope.

"It's only been a day. Also, I took care of the food problem by making a mess hall for them to get food from."

"Oh.." Odin said as he sighed.

"Yeah also, if you ever want to make money, a friend of mine would like to have a human fight in his arena first match is 25 million so tell me if you're down for it now see ya!" Hope said as he left.

{Welcome back, sir. I took the liberty of starting the pacifist project. Would you like to have the creator robots start to produce the killbots?} Alpha's voice sounded out in the lab.

"Oh yeah, the robot army yeah start it up max limit is 100 thousand." Odin said as he left for the mess hall.

•••••

Odin left the mess hall with 50 pounds of food in his belly, much to the astonishment of the people currently eating.

"Alpha call the group to my lab also, Sabriel." Odin said as he entered his lab.

{done}

After waiting a few minutes, the group arrived, and they realized they had entered the store. They entered the workshop and saw Odin standing near the God-maker.

"Start stripping. You're going to be enhanced." Odin said as he loaded the machine with chemicals.

"What?" Ragnar said as he looked back at the group.

"As I said, I'm going to make you guys stronger. also I'm placing a neural link in you so you can pilot your power armor better." Odin said as he focused on the machine.

"Also Fyr, you'll get your limbs back and you be younger so.." Odin tried to tempt Fyr.

"I would like my arms back. They don't exactly feel nice against my skin, too cold and too rough." Fyr calmly said as she quickly walked up towards the machine.

"It will also make you much stronger than you currently are." Odin said.

"By how much?" Greg asked.

"Well, with the augmentation, it'll be around 3 times your body weight and once augmented, you'll be twice your current weight, so do the math." Odin said as he helped Fyr get into the tube.

Odin was going to use the spartan augments and a few space marine organs to turn them stronger, but for now, they would only get the Spartan augments.

Just like Odin, Fyr was broken down and rebuilt but this time it took only 4 hours because unlike Odin, whose body was more advanced that it really couldn't be called human, Fyr only reached superhuman levels.

She also grew an additional two feet and was now half of Odin's height. Going by what he knew of Spartans, Fyr should be able to lift 973.56 pounds.

The next one was Ragnar, who grew 1 foot and reached eight feet, and he looked to be the same size as his Evo armor. He would probably be the second strongest of the group, being able to lift 1,650 pounds.

Sabriel went next, and he improved a lot, standing at nearly 10 feet and being able to lift 1 ton without his armor. Sabriel could probably contend with one of the banana boys.

And this wasn't accounting for his space marine augments like the sinew coils, Ossmodula, Biscopea, and Magnificat. Sabriel couldn't be compared to humans before, but now even against space marine, it would feel unfair unless it was a 1,000-year-old veteran or something.

"How about we have a dual let's see your skills?" Odin asked Sabriel.

Sabriel nodded, and the group left back to the ship. The group walked toward a section of the ship that was meant to be a prison, but it was a good place to fight as the material that made the walls was thicker. As they were on a planet without an atmosphere, Odin didn't want to fight outside, so this place met his needs.

"Since I challenged you, it's only right you get the first hit, so hit me as hard as you can." Odin said as he got into a boxing stance.

The fight was already very unfair for one: the height difference of 6 feet meant Sabriel had to be more careful of him and had to adapt to the distance. Odin also weighed much more than him even before the upgrade. He was 3,271.4 pounds while Sabriel was 718.6 pounds, which was a difference of 4.5 times.

Sabriel moved like a blur and launched a jab at Odin's face. The attack sounded like a train hitting a mountain. Odin felt Sabriel's fist land, but the attack felt as if someone had gently placed their fist on his cheek. Odin looked at Sabriel in confusion, but quickly regained himself and launched a regular punch at his stomach.

In just 1/160th of a second, the punch hit Sabriel and he was launched back with his body intact. The force in his punch could easily break through a space marine armor, maybe even auramite armor.

Yet by some miracle, Sabriel did not end up with a huge hole in his body.

'Thank me later.' Hope's voice sounded in Odin's mind.

"Well, not as strong as me, but to a normal human, well, it'll be like this dual." Odin said as he walked up to Sabriel who was winded.

The group returned and finished the upgrades. The group was now superhuman soldiers, but they needed experience, so they weren't complete yet. Odin left the workshop and asked Sabriel who was now ok to bring the storm shield and his power armor.

Odin studied the storm shield to see how to reverse engineer it, and it was relatively simple. The internal gravitic energy field generator worked the same as the ship's energy shields. Of course, the generator was smaller than his ships, which helped him as he wanted to make miniature generators for his power armors.

If the generator was adjusted correctly, it could be put on a sword and turn it into a power sword using the repelling force of the generator. Odin quickly made a simple sword and placed the generator on it and adjusted it.

The sword was covered in a blue shimmer of light. Odin took it and slashed at part of the storm shield a chunk was easily torn off as the shield had no protection from the gravitational force produced by the generator.

He turned off the generator and fully disassembled it and produced identical parts to make another generator. He made the generator and also made a special weapon for the generator to go with it.

The weapon was a war scythe as he saw that Sabriel used one when he entered his house. The polearm looked much more advanced, as it was made to be highly durable. At the bottom of the weapon was the generator, which was the size of a lemon.

The energy field would be directed to the blade by pressing the on button. This was called sharpening and it could also switch it to make a shield to protect the user. This was called dulling.

He also made a small adapter so that when Sabriel was in power armor, he could mentally switch between the two modes.

"Here you go. Another gift from me to you." Odin said as he handed the weapon to Sabriel.
