Hades pushed open the door of the guest wing, took a deep breath and walked in. He could still smell Persephone's perfume lingering in the air. Thank goodness Pixie had not cleaned up yet, it would have been sad if he walked in and all traces of her were gone.
He walked towards the bedroom, and was surprised to see the door slightly open. He pushed it and walked into the room, the sight he saw only tugging at his heartstrings even more.
There on Persephone's bed, was Cerberus curled up like a ball, Hades had been wondering where he had run off to.
"Hey there bud," Hades sat down next to the dog and stroked his fur gently. "It seems you and I are more alike than we thought. You miss her don't you?"
Cerberus whimpered in response, and the god nodded his head in understanding. "So do I," he replied while scanning the room that once belonged to his favorite being on Olympus. "So do I."
