"Thank you for your concern but I think the waffle is burning," She said while smelling the air.
Though both of them didn't realise it, the waffle had already been burning inside the machine for more than a few minutes.
With everything that happened a moment ago, they both forgot about what they both were doing a moment ago.
"Damn it!" Daniel ran into the kitchen in the speed of light.
"It's completely burned," he said while looking at Luna who was slowly coming towards the kitchen.
"It's your fault, not mine," she said with a smirk on his face.
He took the burned waffle out and tossed it into the garbage can and cleaned the waffle maker as he put another batch of batter into the waffle maker and kept waiting while looking at it impatiently.
"Just go and sit, you don't have to keep staring at me like that, now that we are housemates your stare even annoys me," Daniel said while impatiently tapping on the floor until the waffle was done.
He had turned completely normal in a matter of a few minutes that passed after a life-threatening incident. He had accepted her as his housemate without even wanting to know who she really is, it was as if he had already given up on finding who she really is.
But that wasn't the case at all, the behaviour that he was showing did have a meaning to them. His sole purpose was to find out who she really is by keeping her right by his side.
He plated the waffles with the fruits and assembled the bottle of honey together with whipping cream and Ice cream. He brought it all to the dining table and sat down.
"What are you doing? If you are going to continue to stare at me like that you are going to miss your meal."
"I am coming," she said slowly stepping towards the table.
"I just can't figure out how you managed to change like that. That honestly is a little bit scary," she said while taking a seat.
"This is just how I am, after spending time with people whom I don't like I guess I have evolved to behave like this, and sometimes the change can be drastic that some even fail to identify me," he cut a piece of his waffle and put a little bit of ice cream and fruits on the top.
"Dig in," he said while continuing to eat.
"You are going to the university tomorrow morning, right?" She asked.
"Yes, I am hoping to. I have no plans of missing my lessons anymore and there is also something else that I have to take care of. Well, it is still mid-day, I am going to take a little bit of sleep. Meanwhile, you can walk around the yard. I will cook dinner when I wake up."
They both continued to dine into the food without speaking much, there wasn't even a compliment on how the food tasted like.
Daniel finally stood up from the chair and put away the napkin that he used to wipe his mouth.
He walked to his room without speaking anything else.

The sun was slowly setting down, but Luna who was mesmerised by the surrounding of his house and yard wasn't done walking through them. She was enjoying it to the fullest.
The flowers that had bloomed amidst the gloomy and lonely house, looked refreshing to her. She continued to walk without thinking about anything else.
By now she had come to a simple conclusion; it was that he wasn't a bad person but probably someone who is not right in the head. Though his behaviour made her believe in some of his words too, even if he was mentally ill he wouldn't have dared to go around proving it to others.
"Maybe he is a sociopath," she told herself while walking towards the pond.
"Who is the sociopath?" Daniel appeared right behind her sacring her, she turned around as she missed the step and fell into the pond grabbing Daniel by his colour.
They both fell right onto each other, with their lips on each other.
"I didn't mean to," Luna pushed Daniel away and got up.
"Well, that isn't the case, you probably scared my fishes to death," he stood up while trying to make sure that the fishes were alright.
"You better go and change into something else, I can literally see everything," Daniel said while looking at her from head to toe.
"It's your fault," she said while crossing her hands across the chest.
"There you go, now was it me who fell into the pond. It was literally you who dragged me into the pond. I know that you are pissed off for what happened earlier and a moment ago but well I already apologized to you for what happened earlier but for what happened right now I think it is you who should apologise to me."
"I am not going to apologize to you, if you didn't scare me like that, this wouldn't have happened," she said while getting into the argument.
"Go get changed I have no intentions of continuing to stare at your bare body, it doesn't look that appealing to me," he said without thinking much.
But to a girl, a compliment like that would be pretty hurting, unless she is totally in love with herself she would definitely be hurt by this kind of comment whether it is from a girl or a boy and it was the same with Luna.
"Did you really have to make a comment like that?
Just know that what you just did now was not that appropriate, I get the fact that you don't like me but you shouldn't have made a comment like that."
Daniel felt really hurt or the words that he uttered without thinking much.
"Alright, I am sorry, My butler prepared some clothes for you and they are in the room. You can select whatever you like.
Also, I am here to ask for the list that I asked you to prepare, my butler is going out to get groceries he can get whatever you need."
"Well in that case I do have something I need ASAP," she said while looking down out of embarrassment to say it out loud.
