To Her Place

"All I have to do right now is find her. If I find her I am sure that all the problems I have will be solved but if I don't pester her and ask her by force Luna will never willingly reveal herself to me." He thought.

"Oi are you dead," he woke upto feeling someone shaking him hard.

He opened his eyes to the sunlight that was falling on him. As his eyes hadn't gotten used to the sunlight he closed them back again as he couldn't see anything. Still sleepy he asked, "who is it?"

"It's me, Luna. Oh my God! I really thought that you were dead. You weren't breathing or replying to my voice for the last 10 minutes."

"Just look at the time it's already 11 a.m"

Hearing these words his body and mind completely awakened. He jumped out of the bed like a robot who had work to do.

"I am sorry. I overslept, didn't I? I will quickly get ready. You must be in a hurry to go and pick up your stuff." He said in a voice tone completely different from what he used at her before.

Though she was a little surprised to hear him like that. She didn't have a reason to doubt his behaviour.

"I will go prepare you some breakfast then." She turned around to leave the room.

He grabbed her hand and held onto it without letting her leave.

"Thank you." He said. He was confused about why he even said it when he had no specific reason to tell her 'thank you.'

"You are welcome." She said with a smile. He loosened the grip letting go of her hand.

For a moment he just stood looking at Luna who was leaving the room.

The only difference between them was that Luna from the living room lacked the aura the Luna from the immortal world gave.

He headed to the bathroom and had a quick shower. For some reason, he wanted to dress in something fancy. So he did.

A shirt over a turtle neck, black trousers and boots made him look more energetic than what he used to look all this time.

He headed out of the room after adjusting his hair with his hand.

The smell of the bacon that was frying in the pan was all over the place. His eyes went around to look for the butler but he didn't seem to be around. He sat down and waited for Luna to bring him some food.

She came to him with a plate full of bacon, ham, cheese and bread. After leaving the plate in front of him she applied peanut butter and jam together on two slices of bread and put it on his plate and filled his glass with milk.

"Why are you so good to me today?" He asked surprised.

"I don't know. I just felt like cooking and I am just feeding you what I cooked."

"Alright alright. I was just kidding. Did you eat by the way?" He asked

"Yes, I ate as soon as I woke up this morning. I was super hungry so I ended up cooking and also I met your butler. He went out to buy some products to refill your fridge."

"I will finish this quickly. Let's go and pick your stuff up." He quickly dug into the food. Though what she had prepared wasn't something fancy he still appreciated it being the first meal prepared by someone else that he ate after a long time.

"Let's go then," he said putting aside the empty plate.

They both headed out of the room and came outside.

"If you are feeling exhausted I can drive. After all, it is only me who knows the way there." She said concerned about how he slept this morning.

"Don't worry about that. I am usually like that." He said. But truly he was lying he was the type to wake up with just the door moving.

"We are not driving that car. If we drive it, there won't be any space to put your stuff. I have something better in the garage. "

"Daniel, just how rich are you? Having one supercar is already enough now don't tell me that you have other vehicles as well."

"I don't know how to answer that question. I have no idea about how rich I am but I will soon know about that and that is when I take over what is mine."

"For now I am just in charge of spending." He smiled as he said that.

"Good for you." She pulled her tongue out.

"Follow me in," he lead the way into the garage that was full of another few supercars and to her surprise, there were normal-looking cars as well. He unlocked an Audi and got into it without bothering to open the door for her.

He knew that there was no need for formality between them any longer.

They both rode off into the town following the directions Luna gave.

They both finally stopped in front of a building that looked as if it was about to collapse onto the ground. His mind went blank thinking about how she even managed to live as a girl there. In his mind, he felt as if a girl shouldn't be living in a place like that just by observing unsanitary it looks.

"I will come with you," he said right before she stepped out of the car.

"No it's okay you can stay here. I don't have much with me. I will be back in 10 to 15 minutes, if I don't come down by then you can come up. I live in the rooftop apartment."

"Alright as you wish," he let out a deep sigh and watched her getting into the building.

Even though 15 minutes already passed she didn't come down. Knowing how girls are he decided to wait another five minutes before going up.

Five minutes passed but still, he couldn't see the sight of her.

He got out of the car and locked it and headed into the building but as he got closer to the topmost floor all he could hear was the sound of a middle-aged man cursing in the most abusive language that anyone can find.

He ran up the stairs.
