"Hey Athena, do you agree to be my queen?" Athena doesn't respond at first before blushing and punching my shoulder. I stand up and pull her to her feet as well. "seriously I need permission you agree to be my queen an equal one at that, wait first drink these I have a theory I want to test." pulling out the set of eternal potions her eyes go wide before she just shakes her head and drinks them. she's not even surprised anymore at me pulling out potions that have been extinct for thousands of years.

"I agree Nova I don't really follow but I trust you, also these potions seem to have an immediate effect are they what I think they are?" I nod and she smiles and I pull out the queen piece from the inventory and it molds from a small red marble and changes to look like a queen piece. as it floats Infront of her we are both shocked at the power it radiates if this is a normal one how strong is a mutated one? I know they can mutate on their own naturally but it's tempting to buy a mutated one and see how it looks.

After selecting equal the piece floats toward her chest and merges into her body. she looks around and opens and closes her hands a few times.

"I don't feel any different." then it hits her like a brick and she falls like a puppet with her strings cut. I grab her so she doesn't hit her head and lay her down with a towel behind her head. She doesn't move but she begins to sweat like crazy and changes from her demon form to her normal form every few minutes.

while I wait for her to finish I look into the temple of sin I bought and see that it's a building in my garden bubble world. walking inside I see it's empty other than seven altars in the middle of the room. each with an empty slot on it in the shape of an item. one is for a sword another for a shield, at this point I figure out it's for the royal family's artifacts because there is a slot for each item. on the sword altar, there are carvings of a king standing above all with his head held high. pridefully as a lucifer indeed and the mask one as a gaping maw devouring countless individuals for the Beelzebub gluttony. I guess if I find an artifact I can stash them here and maybe it will allow me to use it I would guess. I was wondering if I was going to have the ability to use the royal family's artifacts without being blood-related. this makes me even more confident in facing Glorfindel and taking the god-eating mask for myself.

Pulling out of the system I look at Athena and her eyes are fluttering open. checking her power level with Purson I leap off the ground in shock.

"Great demon king?! I mean I get the queen piece is strong but still to jump an entire tier is nuts." Athena looks up at me and seems confused, she tries to stand and launches herself into the air quickly catching herself she looks at herself then looks at me and begins to laugh maniacally.

it's not bad if anything this is good, I highly doubt it would work this way on a demon overlord to make them jump to god class. for that matter I doubt a low-tier demon emperor could use it to even make it to demon overlord, it would probably only go from low to high in that case. this is most definitely because demon king is still in the ' lower levels ' but still to leave dark moon a higher demon and come back a great demon king is crazy. also now that I think about it the black potions are probably fully fused during the reincarnation process adding to the all-around boost from the queen piece and you have this result. the eternal potions boost the four stats people are categorized by and if you drink all four you get a set bonus that acts as another boost to all stats, so Athena just got there all around stat bonuses so jumping a tier isn't that far-fetched now that I calm down and think about it. I wonder if she can have another set of black potions as well like how the devil fruit works again after reincarnating. it probably will since the body was remade and it is kind of acting like an entirely new person. I will hold off on buying her another set of black potions till she needs them for a breakthrough same with the devil fruit. she has her bloodline promotion ability that triggers on her birthday, if she pushes for the peak of the great demon before that and takes another set of black potions and a devil fruit and her bloodline promotion ability on her birthday night she might jump through the barrier of demon empire.

"I feel amazing I feel full of a new kind of energy I feel like I can just rip anything apart." she is slowly adjusting to her new power grabbing rocks and breaking them apart and I decide to check out her stats.

Looking through her sheet it's basically what I assumed but I am surprised by it picking up on her bloodline promotion. her minor space manipulation should be from her first devil fruit, on her birthday when she eats another I wonder if it will upgrade or if she maybe get another ability.

"Nova! look at this it's so cool haha." I look at her and she's flying around and carrying a huge boulder.

"Yea you got a huge strength upgrade since we left the dark moon, I bet your dad would be shocked at your growth." she tosses the boulder and lands next to me.

"Yea I will ask him if we can come to visit when he gets back, speaking of visiting my dad there is something I have been meaning to ask you for." she seems a bit nervous and looks at the leering Dodo. he covers his ' eyes ' with a pair of slime hands and I laugh at his antics.

"Hey Dodo can you go find some food in the forest outside the mine, I am starving after all that absorbing I did." He already is bouncing in place when I said food and when I said outside he high-tailed it out the room down a tunnel. looking back at Athena she grabs one of my hands and holds it.

"I need you to gift me a dagger... you don't have to if you don't want to but it's important if we're going to meet my dad." a dagger? oh, yea a dagger! it was her way of a marriage proposal, both people use the gifted dagger to cut themselves and then let their blood mix, and boom you are married. I guess it's a bit fast for my taste but if she's down to marry me I am not going to complain.

"Ok, I will craft one when we get back, let's fly around a bit and get you used to those wings. after that we can fight a bit to get used to the new power, given my physical strength should be low demon emperor if my natural abilities work like how I think." Balam might have put me in the next Tier again as far as physical strength goes, I think that's why the upgrade hurts so much and I got broken and rebuilt so much. I dread the god-tier realm and how much it will hurt then.

Also, I pull out the black potions I got for me and drink them and toss the bottles and also pull out the fruit of temptation. the fruit looks like the apple and as soon as my eyes are on it I feel a bit of a trance and take a bite and gain some sin. it seems these are like Chen Rui's aura fruit, but these have some kind of charm that makes you want to eat them. could be useful in a dessert like an apple pie, sharing half with Athena and then planting the seeds in the garden it gives me a timer of a day to grow and a day to harvest. I wonder how many I will be able to plant, these will be a huge sin income in the future with a big enough orchid.

I walk into the throne room and spot Regent Obsidian on the throne, In front of him is the incompetent Legu Karon on the surface he is Finance Minister but in reality, I do his job and many others. honestly, I can't wait till I can kill Broc and Sabrina, once I avenge my family I can just let the light curse kill me maybe even kill myself so I don't have to suffer the pain anymore. I have this curse and it is a constant reminder of how much of a fool I was to trust a man, who in reality turned out to not even be a man.

*Sigh*

Noticing my approach the kneeling Legu passes a lustful look over me but I smash down on this pig with some spirit and he quickly lowers his head again. Obsidian watching this is smiling wide, Legu must be bugging him about that incident with his son again.

"Is this fool requesting for you to assist in his son's petty squabbles again?" Legu starts shaking in anger and is about to lash out but obsidian glares and he collects himself before speaking.

"It's not a petty squabble lady Devils snare, the red spirit estate lord's son crippled my only heir and is refusing any responsibility and even asked me to take it up with his kids myself. but when I requested time off to head down to get involved regent obsidian denied so I can only ask for his help to settle the matter." This fool doesn't understand that obsidian cant have top-ranking officials just showing up in the dark moon because the number one general of our empire supports Shea for her birthright for the thrown and if he feels something is happening he will leave the border to protect her. leaving us open to the bloody empire, so in the long run, it's mutually assured destruction and so obsidian can only sit on his hands and slowly chip away at any chance for Shea to ever claim the throne that by right is hers.

"Isabella is there anything you can do to clear this problem for me I would be grateful." and now Obsidian is pushing the problem to me, oh boy could I use a vacation. wait that's it, I could go to the dark moon and ' look into it ' myself and in the meantime unwind a bit.

"There is." they both perk up walking right into it. "I will volunteer myself I hold no public position so no one can complain about me visiting the dark moon. Shea can even be considered one of my old friends." as if I have no friends, only enemies.

"Great I thank lady devils snare for her assistance." Obsidian looks like he ate a lemon, with me gone all the work will stagnate. should have thought twice before pushing your problem off on me. guess it's time to make a trip to the dark moon, it's quite ugly there but it's better than staying in the capital I am so sick of it here.

"Well then I am off to fix this problem and will return with satisfactory results." in a few weeks when I am well rested I will return to run this damn kingdom. incompetent men only thinking with their dicks and making problems with their egos clashing.
