49. Snarled Truth

"Ritah, I would like a paternity test for both your children," Troy announced as he walked into her office. He spoke politely in vernacular.

Ritah was thrilled to have him in her office, but she would have preferred a warning. She watched him pace the space before her enormous desk in her equally large office.

He wasn't agitated. This put her on edge.

"Did Eve put you up to this? I don't see what this has got to do with anything. We both know where we were when both our children were conceived." She replied a little less civilly in vernacular. 

He stopped pacing and smiled. "Actually, I'm updating my will. I want all my children to benefit from my estate."

‘Finally! As soon as I get hard core evidence that he is the father I can change my son's birth certificate,’ she thought smugly. She had been wanting this for a long time.

"What has brought this on?" She asked calmly.
