I covered my face using my own hands. I am now sitting in one of the chairs in the waiting area of the hospital. Samantha's leg is currently undergoing surgery because of a gunshot wound she received from Edward's gun. There seemed to be a rope in my hand that I hadn’t seen before when I could do nothing as Edward hurt Samantha. 


I promised the policemen that I would do nothing else while they rescued Samantha, and even though I really wanted to rush Edward and kill him myself I didn’t do that. 


I don’t know what agony Samantha endured while she was with Edward other than being shot in the leg. But all my anger for Edward suddenly disappeared when one of the police snipers shot him and hit him. 


Edward immediately fell to the floor when the gun hit him, and Patty and I both ran to the very spot where Samantha and Edward had fallen. 


I called an ambulance and rushed Samantha to the hospital. I totally felt the pain she was experiencing at that time.
