Chapter 55

I entered the hall, all eyes were on me, especially Damian. I made my way to a chair and I sat down beside Mrs Tatiana. The ceremony began, we heard the trumpets and everyone stood up as Diamond walks in. She sparkled as she walks in, everyone admire her dress as she walks in.

I looked at Silver and I saw his face lit up like a little child. Now I'm totally convinced that Silver really loves Diamond. The coronation continued, I really wasn't paying much attention, I was too busy thinking about Hendrix's Coronation. It really was a memorable day.

I snapped back to reality when I heard Queen Namaari. "I here by Crown you Queen of Witches" Queen Namaari said. Everyone screamed and clapped for joy, finally Diamond is the new Witch Queen. After the coronation, we all went to the ball room. People danced with their partner.

"Aren't you asking her for the first dance?" I asked Silver. "Do you think I should do it?" Silver said. "Yes" I said. "Although....I wanted to sing a song for her" Silver said. "What? You? Sing?" I asked. "Yeah" Silver said. "Alright....what song would you like to sing?" I asked. "Shine bright like a diamond" Silver said. "Really? Do you think you could sing?" I asked.

"Yes....ok, wait me sing.....You shine bright like a diamond...diamond...." Silver sang and I would confess, I kinda lost my ears. "You're a little pitchy" I said. "Could you do better?" Silver asked. "Sure....why don't you seat back while I help you out" I said.

"Hey!! Where are you going?!! What are you going to do?" Silver asked. I walked up to the stage and I took a Mic from its stand. I tapped it gently and everyone looked at me.

I took a deep breath. "Um.... Good evening everyone.... I'm Lilith and someone special has asked me to dedicate this song to the new Queen... Our new Queen, Queen Diamond. So I hope you guys enjoy it" I said. I went to the musical band and I told them the song I wanted to sing.

I cleared my throat, I took a deep breath and I placed the mic close my mouth.

When I opened my eyes, j heard people clapping....I haven't sang out loud before and I never expected people to enjoy it. I came down from the stage, I met Silver waiting for me. "What do you think?" I asked. "You were amazing" Silver said.

"Excuse me.....I need to take some fresh air while you ask her to dance with you" I said. I went outside for some fresh air, I saw Ivy sitting all alone. "Have you come here to gloat?" Ivy askd. "Gloat? About what?" I asked. "Don't act all innocent.... You're enjoying everything. The treatment, the attention Damian is giving you" Ivy said.

"What attention are you talking about.... Look Ivy, I know you hate me but I'm pleased to say that it doesn't affect me one bit and the fact that you're pinning you're misery on me is completely crazy" I said.

"Yes, I'd pin everything on you because ever since you came into our lives Damian has changed. Before you arrived Damian listens to everything I tell him but now it's like you're now in charge of his thoughts...his every movement, his entire life" Ivy said. "How could you think such a thing?" I asked.

"I know the song you sang up there was for Damian" Ivy said. "What? I only sang that song because Silver.... You know what? Forget it. I owe you no explanation. So what if I sang it to Damian? Huh? So what if that song was dedicated to Damian? Do you have a problem with that? Does it bother you in any way? Or are you being jealous?" I asked.

"How dare you stand there and spit out such rubbish before me? Do you know who I am?" Ivy asked.

"Yes, I know who you are.You are a girl who begs for attentiom from the Vampire King and You are also a Vampire Princess who one hand the heart and mind of the Vampire King but now it all belongs to a human girl. Well I understand if you're jealous....I mean if I were I'm your shoes I'd feel the same way but unfortunately I can never stoop too low like you. Now if you'd excuse I need to go see the Vampire King" I said, I left Ivy and I went back inside.

Great, just great. Here I was feeling happy that Diamond has been Crowned Queen, now Ivy had ruined mood. I can't believe she would think such rubbish about me. How could she think that I want any attention from Damian?. I walked back inside furiously, I bumped into someone. I looked up, I saw Damian

"Is everything alright?" Damian asked. "Yes" I replied still angry. "You don't sound fine to me" Damian said. "I said I'm fine" I replied. Damian took my hand. "Look at me" Damian said. I didn't.... Damian placed his hand on my chin and he slowly turned my face.

I looked at him, I couldn't help but choke at little when I looked into his eyes. He had this look of worry In his eyes. "Are you okay?" Damian asked. "Yes..... I'm sorry if I over reacted.... um... I'm just stressed" I said. Damian smiled at me and I swear my heart skipped a bit. "You look beautiful" Damian said.

"Thank you" I said. "Although....I don't like what you did to the dress" Damian said. "Oh, it was too exposed" I said. "Exactly" Damian said. "What?" I asked. Damian cleared his throat.

"Never mind" Damian said. "Oh" was all I could say. "You sang beautifully...I never knew you had such an amazing voice" Damian said. "That's because, I've never sang out loud before" I said. "You did pretty good" Damian said. "Thank you" I said. "Lilith....there's something I need to tell you" Damian said. "What is it?" I asked.

"The thing is that.....I....I" Damian said. Wow, I've never seen a Vampire King so speechless before. "Is there a problem Damian?" I asked. Damian was about to say something but there was this sudden earthquake. I immediately held onto Damian. The earthquake suddenly stopped.

"Are you okay?" Damian asked. "Yea...yes" I said. Some guards entered the ball room. "Your Majesties we're under attack" A guard said. "By who?" Sylvester asked. "Fairies!!" Another yelled. "Fairies?" I asked. "Yes Fairies and Witches have been sworn enemies since the dawn of time" Queen Namaari said.

There was a large crash, People with wings began to enter. "Stay here, no matter what happens don't leave the hall" Damian said. "Alright" I replied. "I'm serious Lilith, don't have an inch" Damian said. Damian, Silver and Sylvester left the hall. Mean while fairies came crashing in. Diamond used her powers to protect me, while Damian and Silver are so very protecting the entire Kingdom from the outside.

The fight continued and all I could do is run and hide. The battle inside the Castle is pretty intense. Fairies were so busy fighting... I have no idea why the fairies are here in the first place. I tried to run outside but someone grabbed me from behind. I turned around and there was a woman standing behind me. "Who..... Who are you?" I asked. "I am you worse nightmare" The lady said.
