Chapter 60

Well after the attack from the Fairies, we discovered that Diamond had been kidnapped. Silver hasn't really been himself and now Lilith insists to join us. Although I objected it but Lilith's too stubborn. Now we had to cross a river, we found a boat in the river. Sylvester said we had to use the boat, some hours later we were hit.

The monster tried to take Lilith away, this made me so pissed that I had to jump into the water, I had to kill it. We rolled down the river for a while, soon after we got to an island. I looked around the island to see if we could find something that could help us.

Finally Lilith found a door on the mountain, she stretched forth her hand and a door appeared. We all entered the door, now we are all drenched from the rain. Silver insisted that we invade the Castle but Lilith said we had to change, not like we had a choice. I could withstand the cold but Lilith couldn't.

Lilith saw a tailor's shop, "stay here" Lilith said. She entered the shop. Well I'm not the kind of person who takes orders from anyone let alone a human girl. "Let's go" I said to the others. We all entered the shop, I saw Lilith talking to an old man. "Are you a fugitive?" The man asked. "Um...." Lilith said.

"Because I'd be in a lot of trouble if I have anything to do with a fugitive..... I could even be exiled for it" The man said. "Who are you calling a fugitive?" I asked. Lilith turns around, She seemed shock to see me. "Didn't I tell you guys to wait behind?" Lilith asked. "You're.... You all are Vampires" The man said. "Please..... We really need your help" Lilith said.

"I must report this to the authorities" The Man said. I drew my sword and I placed it on the man's neck. "Take another step and you loose your head" I said.

"Damian please drop it" Lilith said. I didn't respond all my attention was on the man. "Damian I said drop it" Lilith said, it seems like she's angry. I had no other option, I put the sword away.

Never in my life has anyone raised their voice at me in authority and I obey. This Lilith is something else. "Excuse me Sir what's your name?" Lilith asked. "M, Mr Robert" He replied.

"I apologize on behalf of my friend but we really need your help. As you can see we are all drenched and we really need something to change into. I am freezing and might die from cold... Look all we want is a pair of good clothes so we could find a way to return back to our world" Lilith said.

The mam let out a sigh and I could tell that he didn't have much of a choice. "Alright" The man said. He took out some clothes, which we tried on. I wore dark outfit, Ivy wore a blue dress. Sylvester wore a black jean with a yellow top, Silver wore a white outfit. Well I'm not surprised, white is his favorite color after all.

Lilith wore a beautiful red dress, She packed my hair into a stylish bun. Is she doing this on purpose? Doesn't she know that red is my favorite color? I looked at her and she looked gorgeous. I gave The man some gold coins before leaving.

We all went outside, few minutes later Lilith ran out of the shop. "What kept you?" I asked. "I was Thanking the man for his generosity"Lilith said. Thanking him? Why would she do that?. "You look beautiful" I said. "Thank you" Lilith replied. "We're here" Silver said.

We entered the Castle and the minute the fairies saw us they attacked. We fought them and at the same time I tried my best to protect Lilith. For me they were nothing but mosquitoes that needed to be squashed.

In the process of fighting some fairies flew to the sky with bows and flaming arrows in their hands. The moment they released it, I tried my best to bring them down and beat them.

I am so focused on killing them that I lost track of everything. While I was fighting I didn't see Lilith so I presumed that she found somewhere safe to hide. "Damian, look behind you!!" Silver said through the mind link. I immediately turned around, I saw Lilith on the ground and a Fairy was pointing a flaming arrow at her.

I used my powers to put everything on slow motion. I ran to Lilith with my super speed and I hugged her. The moment I hugged time went back to normal. The Fairy let's go of the arrows and they all hit my back. "Damian.... You're...." Lilith said.

"I'm fine, I want you to run toward that building" I said. Lilith looked at the sky and the Fairies where still shooting the arrows on me. "But the Fairies" Lilith said. "Don't worry I'd cover you" I said. "You're..... You're hurt. I can't..... I can't leave you like this" Lilith said. That's sweet, she even cares about me.

"Lilith..... I assure you I'd be fine. But I wouldn't be if I see you hurt. You just have to hide behind that building" I said. "Okay" Lilith replied. I placed my hands on her face. "Promise me Lilith, promise me that no matter what happens you wouldn't leave that spot" I said.

"I promise" Lilith replied. I bent down and gave her a soft kiss because I know might loose control. We both stood up, I hugged her. "Now run..... And what ever you do don't look back" I said. She ran towards the building without looking back. "Silver makes sure she gets into the building" I said to Silver through the mind link.

I watched as Silver protected Lilith, now that Lilith is safe, I can now go crazy on everyone. I turned to the Fairy who almost killed Lilith, I made sure I killed him before killing the others. Fairies are nothing to me, in fact I could render all of them useless with my eyes closed.

After I fought for some hours, I could feel my soul slipping away to my inner demon. "Damian we have to go!! Ivy has been injured" Silver said. "I have never backed out in a battle before" I said. "There's always a first time for everything" Silver said. I had no other option, I had to end the battle.

"Wait a minute, where's Lilith?" I asked. "Isn't she with you?" Sylvester asked. "She's supposed to be inside the building but she's not there" Silver said. "We have to search for her" I said.

"We don't have time Damian, Lilith is capable of taking care of herself but Ivy is badly injured" Silver said. "Ivy is a Vampire she's not going to die while Lilith is a human.... I am not leaving here without Lilith" I said.

"Silver's right king Damian, we should take Ivy to a physician, We'd come back for Lilith" Sylvester said.
