Chapter 63 {Damian pov}

I gently placed Lilith on the bed and I noticed that her body was as cold as ice. Immediately my mind was flooded with questions and worry. I hope it's not what I'm thinking. I sat on the bed beside Lilith, a maid walked into the room.

"Get me Queen Namaari" I said. "Yes your Majesty" The maid said and she quickly left, some minutes later Queen Namaari entered the room. "Is there a problem Damian?" She asked as she made her way towards my direction.

"I don't know if it's just me but for some reason Lilith's as cold as ice" I said. Queen Namaari froze for a while, the look on her face says it all. She walks closer to Lilith, she placed her hand on Lilith's head, she checked her pulse. "Damian... She's....."

"Don't say it" I said. "I'm sorry but she's.... She's gone" Queen Namaari said. "No!! No, it can't be... She can't be... There has to be a way to bring her back" I said. "I'm afraid there's nothing I can do Damian" Queen Namaari said.

I ran my fingers through my hair in frustration, Lilith can't die, I wouldn't accept it. I've lost Perfect, I can't lose her too. She's more important to me than anyone in the world, even more important than my own brother. Speaking of brother, It's his fault that she's dead.

I never wanted her to embark of this journey but he insisted that she tagged along with us and now she's.... She's gone. I stood up from the bed and I walked to the window. "You have to calm down Damian, you know what would happen if you loose control" Queen Namaari said. "Is there anything you could do for her?" I asked.

"I don't think so" She replied. "Namaari, I don't care how long it takes, I don't care if you have to go to hell to find the solution..... All I want is for you to bring her back or your people would suffer the consequences" I said. "I shall do my best" She said. Queen Namaari left the room.

I went to Lilith, I creased her face. I don't want to lose her, I can't stand the thought of that. I held her hand and it was stiff, her hands were as cold as Popsicles. I tucked her in bed, I gently kissed her forehead. I went to the window again cause right now I'm angry, frustrated and confused.

The more I suppress my feelings, the worst my temper gets. "It's Silver's fault and now Lilith's dead" I said to myself. I went to Diamond's room, I opened the door and I saw Diamond was awake. Oh so Diamond's awake and Lilith's dead? What an irony.

"Damian..... Are you alright? How do you feel?" Diamond asked. I didn't reply, I walked straight to Silver. I grabbed him by the collar and I punched him. Immediately Silver began to bleed from his lips. Diamond rushed to Silver, she helped him wipe off the blood from his lips. "Damian what was that for?" Diamond asked.

I still didn't reply, I looked at Silver and I had the feeling he understood what was going on. I punched him again and again, Diamond tried to stop me but I pushed her aside. I grabbed Silver and I threw him out the window, I teleported to him the moment he tried to stand up.

I punched him over and over and over again. "Damian, I'm sorry!! I had no idea things would end up this way" Silver said. "Sorry doesn't bring her back" I said. I punched him again, Sylvester kicked me from behind. This Vampire has the nerve to kick me? When he is very much involved in this.

I turned around, I grabbed him by the neck. I smirked devilishly as I looked at him, I picked up a sword and all I wanted to do was to slit his throat. "Damian stop, it's me you want..... Let him go" Silver said. "With pleasure" I said. I walked up to Silver, I kicked him.

Sylvester ran to Silver. "What should I do?" Sylvester asked. "Don't do anything" Silver replied. "What? He's going to beat you to a pulp" Sylvester said. "I know..... He's my brother. I know when to fight back and when not to fight back and this is one of the times where you don't fight back" Silver said.

Sylvester helped Silver on his feet. It seems like he wasn't ready for the fight, I charged to him but I stopped in my tracks because suddenly Diamond appeared in the middle from no where. "Damian.... Wait, there's a way to bring her soul back to her body" Diamond said. I paused for a while. "I'm listening" I said.

"My mother has finished preparing the potion..... So you could let go of the sword now" Diamond said. I felt my temper cooled down a bit, I looked at Silver and I quickly let go of him. I followed Diamond into the room where Lilith was kept. I saw Queen Namaari and some Witches in the room, she was with a green potion in her hand and I'm guessing that's the potion Diamond was talking about.

"Is that the potion that's going to bring her back?" I asked. "Yes" She replied. "Indeed, you value the life of your people Queen Namaari" I said. Everyone was silent. "What are you waiting for then? Give her the potion" I said. "Damian, I want you to know that this potion wouldn't take effect immediately, it's a gradual process" Queen Namaari said.

"How long would it take?" I asked. "It would take about seven to fourteen day to fully start its work" Queen Namaari said. "Very well.... You may leave" I said. Everyone left the room, I just hope this potion works. Besides isn't two weeks to far away? I can't wait any longer.

Later in the night, I went out for a stroll. I sat down on a tree, I heard footsteps from behind. "What is it with you and trees?" Silver asked. I didn't reply. "Can I join you?" Silver asked. "Feel free" I replied. Silver jumped on the tree, he sat down beside me. "Damian I'm sorry... It's my fault Lilith's....." Silver said but I stopped him.

"She's not dead..... She has taken the potion so she's fine" I said. "I know but if I hadn't supported her, non of this would have happened" Silver said. "Most of this isn't your fault.... If you had objected Lilith would have still tagged along" I said. "You love her don't you?" Silver asked. "What?"

"Come on Damian, I'm your brother. We grew up together and I know when you're in love with someone" Silver said. "I don't love her.... I'm just worried about her" I replied. "You see falling in love with someone and being worried about them are two different things entirely. Lilith was hired to find a woman for you and now you've fallen for her..... I am happy for you" Silver said.

"Yeah? Well I just hope that she wakes up" I said. "She will..... But right now all she needs is you by her side" Silver said. "I guess you're right" I replied.
