Chapter 66 {Diamond pov}

It's been a week and two days, Lilith hasn't woken up yet. Damian is a total mess, he refused to leave Lilith's side. He even sleeps with her everyday and every night. I feel bad for him, I mean it's because of me Lilith's in that state.

I went to a lake that was close to the Castle. I just needed to clear my head, I heard giggling as I walked closer to the lake. There were three girls surrounding a guy. What are they doing?. This is so shameful, are they planning on doing it in broad daylight?. "Please.... Let's do it here" A lady said.

They all held onto the guys pants, I laughed cause I felt pity for the poor guy. I was about to leave but the guys voice was too familiar. "No, no, no, I'm in a hurry.... We can do it some other time" The guy said, I hid behind a tree as I quietly looked at the guy. Turns out the guy was Silver, so this is what he does.

Who am I kidding? He is a playboy, a playboy who would never change. I can't believe I have feelings for this guy. I ran back to the Castle with hot tears rolling down my cheeks. I sat under a tree, the tree signifies misfortune and for a Queen to seat under it is quite rear.

"Your Majesty, are you unhappy?" A maid asked. "I'm good.... I'm just upset about the fact that Lilith hasn't woken up" I said. "Don't worry Your Majesty she would be fine" The maid replied. "I'd like to be left alone" I said. The maid left me, some minutes later Silver came back from his enjoyment.

"Diamond.... Summon your Mother and come along side her" Damian said to me through the mind link. What does he want? Can't he tell that other people are trying to console themselves. I reluctantly went to see my Mother, I met her in her room. "Mother" I said. "What brings you here?" She asked.

"Damian sent for you" I replied. "What? Why?" My Mother asked. "How am I supposed to know? The nigga just sent for you" I said. "Diamond are you alright?" Mother asked. "I'm fine" I replied. "I've never seen you use such inappropriate words before" Mother said. "There's always a first time for everything I guess.... Let's just see what that Vampire wants" I said.

My Mother and I went to see Damian, on our way, we met Sylvester, Silver, and Ivy in the hallway. "Where are you headed?" Sylvester asked. "We are going to see Damian" I replied. "We're heading the same way..... Let's go" Sylvester said. We all entered the room, I was so excited when I saw Lilith awake. I felt like screaming and jumping for joy.

I ran to her and I gave her a big hug. "Lilith I'm so happy you're alright" I said. "Who is this Lilith you keep calling? My name is Eleanor" She said. "Huh? I don't understand what do you mean by Eleanor?" I asked in confusion. "Do you now understand why I called you here Namaari?.... Why does she think that she's Eleanor?" Damian asked.

"It's.... Um... She's this way because her soul left her body for a very long time... So she thinks she's someone else. Don't worry she'd be fine in a few days" Mother said. "Are you sure?" Damian asked. "I'm sure" Mother said. "Who are you?" Silver asked. "I am Eleanor the descendant of King Ikaris... The heir to the throne of Sersi" She replied.

"So you're a Princess?" Sylvester asked. "Yes" She replied. "What happened to you?" I asked. "My Kingdom was betrayed by a close friend of my Kingdom whom we had an alliance. They waged war against our Kingdom, they burnt everything to the ground. They killed my Father and Mother, I was meant to marry the King's son so I killed myself" She said.

"Don't worry Lilith, you'd regain your memories soon" I said. Damian dragged me outside. "Are you sure that is Lilith?" Damian asked. How can I tell Damian she isn't Lilith? If I tell him, he might probably go berserk on everyone and we wouldn't want that to happen.

"Yes.... Like my Mother said she just lost some of her memories so she'd be fine" I said. "Very well" Damian said. I think we should return to Damian's Castle so by the time he realizes that she isn't Lilith, we wouldn't hurt my Mother. "But I suggest we return to your Kingdom, maybe something there might trigger her memory" I said.

"If you say so, then we leave tonight" Damian said. I left Damian, I need to have a word with my Mother. Thankfully I met her downstairs, the minute she saw me, she began avoiding me. "Mother, Mother.... I need to have a word with you" I said but this woman kept ignoring me and it's frustrating. "Mother!! Don't ignore me..... Mother" I said.

We both entered the royal library. "Mother... Why are you avoiding me?" I asked. "Because I know what you're about to say Diamond" Mother replied. "So you know..... That means you know the truth" I said. Mother sigh in exhaustion. "Yes Diamond, I aware that she isn't Lilith" Mother replied. "How did this happen?" I asked.

"The potion was meant to lure the soul of Lilith but I never said it had to be Lilith's soul" Mother said. "So who is that person in Lilith's body?" I asked. "Eleanor, she was a Vampire Princess, she died about seven thousand years ago" Mother replied. "Why do you think she came back?" I asked. "Revenge" Mother replied.

"Revenge? On who?" I asked. "King Cyprian.... He was the best friend of Eleanor's father. Eleanor's father King Ikaris was betrayed by King Cyprian, Cyprian killed Ikaris and his wife to take over the Kingdom. That's one of the reasons why Eleanor killed herself.... Before she died she wore that she would come back for revenge"Mother said.

"How do we send her soul back to the land of the dead?" I asked. "It won't be easy" Mother said. "How about I cast a spell on her?" I asked. "Please don't.... The only way you can send her back is if you hurt Lilith's body and Damian wouldn't let that happen" Mother said.

"So you're saying that we should leave her in Lilith's body?" I asked. "For now yes, we still have to figure out a way to deal with this situation.... All we have to do now is to keep the truth away from Damian or else he'd have me dead" Mother said.

I left my Mother, I went to the dinning where I met everyone present including my Mother who just joined us. Some minutes later Damian entered the room. He looked worried, he sat down and I could tell that he was lost in thoughts. "Damian is everything alright?" Ivy asked.

"Yes I'm fine, I was just thinking about us returning to our Kingdom tonight" Damian said. "You're leaving tonight? Don't worry I'd ready the horses for your departure" Mother said. "Are you chasing me away Namaari? Don't think you can get rid of me that easy, besides It was just a thought I didn't actually say we leave tonight" Damian said. "Oh.... I thought you... Never mind" Mother said.

"Diamond I'd like to have a word with you" Damian said. I heart sank when he called my name, did he find out the truth? Is he going to kill me?. He walked out of the room while I followed him outside the Castle. "What's the matter Damian?" I asked. "I want to talk to you in private.... You know without anyone listening to our conversation... I know you're listening Namaari" Damian said.

"Mother!! There's no need for you to ease drop" I said to my Mother through the mind link. "I just wanted to make sure he doesn't hurt you" Mother replied. I sighed in frustration cause I myself am terrified. Damian is unpredictable, you think he's fine then the next minute he'd snap and then he would do the unexpected.

"Why don't we go up the mountain where no one would ease drop on our conversation" I said. Damian and I walked up to the mountain which had a water fall, it's my favorite place in the entire Kingdom. "So what was so important that we had to come here?" I asked. Damian sat on a rock. "Well I just... I just needed your..... Um.. Look, Lilith asked me if we're close" Damian said.

"So? What did you tell her?" I asked. "I don't know...." Damian replied. "What exactly did you say to her?" I asked. "I didn't say anything..." Damian replied. "What do you think Damian? Are you really close to her?"

"I don't know.... Maybe, I guess" Damian replied. "What is your definition of close Damian?" I asked. "Close?.... Hmm.... Let's see, being close to someone is when you share a sexual relationship with that person" Damian replied. "No, no, no, no, everything isn't about s*x Damian. You haven't slept with Lilith but you're close to her" I said.

"Oh I see" I replied. I can't believe that he is a Vampire who has lived for more than two thousand years but he can't tell the difference between love and lost. "Ugh Damian.... Let's start little. Being close to someone doesn't mean you need to have have s*x with that person, like I said earlier you had never done anything with Lilith" Diamond said.

"Except kissing her" Damian said. "Yes except kissing her. When you're close to someone you worry if they're hurt, sick or in trouble. It's just the way you react anytime she's In trouble. In other we could also say you love her" I said.

"So your theory is that aside from the fact that I'm close to her, you also think that I.... love her?" Damian asked. "What is your problem? Huh? What exactly is wrong with you Damian? Why is it so hard for you to accept the fact that you're in love with this girl? When everyone around you clearly see it" I said. "Is it that obvious?" Damian asked.

I have to go, I don't know why but each time I lecture you I get a terrible headache. I'm afraid if I keep this up I might get a wrinkle" I said in frustration "I think you have one already" Damian said. "Haha, very funny" I replied sarcastically.

I left Damian but I didn't actually leave the mountain, I hid behind a huge rock. I watched how Damian sat on a rock, I bet he's thinking about what I said. Damian stood up from the rock. "I DO LOVE LILITH!! I'M IN LOVE WITH LILITH!!" Damian yelled. Good, now all that's left is for him to actually say that to Lilith. The real Lilith I mean.
