Chapter 83

It's been a week since I woke up. This Morning Diamond informed me that we would be leaving for Midgard today. "We're going to Midgard?" I asked. "Yes" Silver said. "Why are we going to Midgard?" I asked.

"Damian was invited by King Asmodeus. He is the ruler of Midgard" Diamond said. "Wait... Isn't Midgard meant for women only?" I asked.

"What? Where did you hear that from?" Sylvester asked. "From the books I read in the library" I said. They all laughed. "We're leaving today?" I asked. "Yeah... Damian has some important matters to discuss with Asmodeus" Diamond said.

"King Asmodeus has a son named Benjamin he's five years old so get ready, we leave immediately" Silver said. I went to my room, Diamond entered my room. "There's no need to pack your bags Lilith... There would be clothes waiting for you there. Go downstairs they're waiting for you" Diamond said.

I obediently went downstairs to see everyone was waiting for me. Suddenly a black Limo parked in front us. "Wow.. We're going in a Limo?" I asked. "Yeah... Damian decided we travel in a more comfortable way" Silver said while looking at Damian.

"Shall we?" Ivy asked. Urgh I can't believe she came along, her presence disgusts me. I entered the Limo, I was awe struck to see the inside furnished with gold. "Is it real gold?" I asked. "Yes" Damian replied.

I sat with Diamond. Wait did you think I'd seat beside Damian? No, no, no, Ivy has that covered already. The journey began, it was quite boring actually. Silver and Sylvester fell asleep, Ivy kept on pestering Damian. I on the other hand, I was curious about the place we're going to.

I placed my head on Diamond's shoulder. "Diamond?" I said. "Hmm?" She replied. "The place we're going to... What's it like?" I asked. "It's just like every Kingdom we've been to but slightly different" Diamond said.

"What do you mean slightly different?" I asked. "You see... King Asmodeus is a powerful King" Diamond said. "More powerful than him?" I asked Diamond while pointing to Damian. "No.. But for a Vampire King who's not an immortal then he's power but no as powerful as Damian" Diamond replied.

Damian looked at me but I ignored him. "What happened to him?" I asked. "Well King Asmodeus fell in love with a Vampire Princess... Their love was like everything you'd read in a fairytale" Diamond said.

"What happened?" I asked again. "Well every good thing must come to an end I guess..." Sylvester said. Diamond and I looked at Sylvester. I thought he was sleeping. "What do you mean?" I asked. "King Asmodeus wife got pregnant" Diamond said.

"Isn't that a good thing?" I asked. "It was until she died after given birth to her son" Silver said. Silver's voice made my heart skip a beat. I thought they were fast asleep. "Did the baby die as well?" I asked. "No he didn't.... King Asmodeus name his son ALGEA" Diamond said.

"Algea?" I asked. "Yes... It means the god of pain, suffering, lamentation and mourning" Diamond said. "But I thought you said he name is Benjamin?" I asked.

"That's the name his Mother gave him before she passed away but after that his Father called him Algea" Silver said. "That's messed up. It's not his fault that his Mother died so why is his Father putting the blame on him?" I asked.

"King Asmodeus found it hard to move on... Even if he cares about his son people do see Benjamin as the god of pain and mourning" Diamond said. "The kid has benn through a lot.... He has never spoken a word since he was born" Sylvester said. "He has never said a word?" I asked.

"Yeah... He doesn't go near anyone. He's always on his own. His Father has has tried everything he knows but nothing happened. He even hired a lot of nannies but they all died" Sylvester said. "Why?" I asked. "No one knows... It has become a mystery to everyone" Silver said.

The journey was pretty long, I slept throughout the entire journey. While I was sleeping I had this dream. In a Castle filled with many I saw dead bodies everywhere. I saw a little boy but his face wasn't there, all I could see is blood pouring down his mouth and a lady was begging for help. The boy looks at me, his eyes were red and he jumped on me.

I screamed in horror. "Don't come close.... I'm warming you" I said to the boy and he was about to place is mouth on my neck. "Please.... Don't do it... I beg you.. Let me go" I said as I tried to break free.

I felt my body moving and something warm rapped around me. I slowly opened my eyes, I found Damian hugging me. "It's just a dream... Everything would be alright" Damian said in a whisper. I couldn't help but hug him tightly, I tried to gasp for air. "Are you alright?" Damian asked.

"Yes.... It was just a bad dream" I said. Damian carried me on his legs, I placed both my hands on his shoulders while he cuddled me. His body felt like a warm and fuzzy blanket, some minutes later I fell asleep again. I honestly don't know how long it took for us to get there but I could remember hearing Damian's voice.

"Lilith we're here" He said. I slowly opened my eyes. "Alright" Was all I could say. I came down from his arms, I hopped down from the car. I looked at the Castle it was beautiful but not as beautiful as Damian's Castle.

I observed my surroundings, everything was beautiful. I could smell fresh roses and some chocolates but there was something that made me pause. It felt like my strength is been drawn from me. I fell to the ground.

Damian rushed to me. "Are you alright?" Diamond asked. "I'm not sure" I said. Damian carried me in his arms, we entered the Castle. We met a young King waiting for us at the entrance.

"It's a pleasure to have you here Your Majesty" King Asmodeus said. "Take us to our rooms" Damian said. "No problem" King Asmodeus said. King Asmodeus asked people to show us to our rooms.

When we got to a room, Damian placed me on the bed. He gently caressed my cheeks. "Don't leave this room Lilith... Am I understood?" He asked. I gently nodded in obedience. "I am serious Lilith... Don't leave this room if you do I would be mad at you" Damian said.

"I wouldn't move an inch" I said with my fingers crossed. "You better not or else you'd suffer the consequences" Damian said. He left the room, as for me I laid on the bed for about fifteen minutes. Damian needs to understand that I never obey instructions not even from my Father. I went to the window and was fascinated by the view.

I decided to go downstairs to take a look around for a while, then I saw a maid yelling at a little boy to come back. The boy was holding a bread, perhaps he stole it. The boy began to run, the maid chased after him. The maid couldn't catch him so I decided to take action.

I ran after the boy. I'd admit he's a pretty good runner. I chased after him, he stopped when he got to the edge of the cliff. I hid behind a tree, I looked around and I could here the sound of water. Is he about to jump down into the water?

He was about to jump down. I immediately grabbed his hand and I pulled him close to me, I hugged him tight. The maid came to us, She looked shocked to see us hugging each other. "Are you alright?" She asked in a scared voice. "Yes... I'm fine" I replied.

We heard cracks, I have no idea what's going on but all I could remember is that the boy and I fell into the river. Shit.. I don't know how to swim. I tried my best to swim up but I couldn't... I began to slowly loose air. I felt something pull me up.

I gasped hard for air the minute I was on the surface. I looked at the little boy, he was so cute, his eyes had two different color. His right eye is blue while the left eye is grey. He also has a curly blonde hair which made him look even more cute. "Are you alright?" The maid asked as she ran to us. "We're fine..." I replied

"Are you alright?" I asked the little boy. He just stared at me. I examined his body and thank goodness he was alright. I let out a sigh of relief "What's your name?" I asked again but he didn't say anything. The maid came to us, she insisted I see the King. I refused but she persuaded me to.

The little boy and I returned to the Castle. We entered the Throne room drenched. I saw Diamond, Silver, Sylvester, Ivy and Damian. Damian glared at me. I could tell Damian wasn't happy to see me. Shit I'm in so much trouble now.
