Chapter 93 {Diamond pov}

Damien, Silver, Sylvester and I were in a near by grave yard. I needed a place to practice a particular spell while the others just needed to chill. "So Damien does this mean we wouldn't be living here anytime soon?" Silver asked.

"What do you mean?" Damien asked. "Well judging by how close Lilith is with Benjamin I don't think we'd leave cause it would break his heart" Silver said. "I never trusted that kid" Damien said.

"There's nothing wrong with been close with each other. The kid just needed someone to talk to and he found Lilith" I said. "My point exactly... Why Lilith? Why not anyone else?" Damien asked. "Lilith is different" I said.

"I think what Silver's trying to say is that now the boy is getting too attached to Lilith, is there a possibility of us returning to our Kingdom" Sylvester said. "Yes, we'd return to our Kingdom... I got news from Malcolm that Nathaniel's is waiting for me so we need to return as soon as possible" Damien said.

"I wonder if Nathaniel has ended things with his lover" I said. "He doesn't have a choice" Damien said. "It hard to say goodbye to the one you love" Sylvester said. "What do you know about love?" Silver asked.

"At least I know that once you love someone it's hard to say goodbye. I mean, it's like giving your heart to someone and at the end of the day you wouldn't be with that person again..... It's messed up. If I were in Nathaniel's shoes I'd run away and never show my face again. I'd probably change my identity, fake my death and erase my name from the world" Sylvester said.

"He's going through a lot right so we should give him time to sort himself out" I said. "If he hadn't fallen in love with her non of this would have happened" Damien said.

"Don't say that... You had no idea you'd fall for Lilith but here we are watching you throw yourself at love. You love Lilith to the extent that you would do anything just to see her safe. You are willing to kill your own brother just for love so let's not judge Nathaniel right now" Silver said.

"When's the wedding?" I asked. "Once we return to our Kingdom we shall start the preparations immediately" Damien said. "Aside from the preparations for the wedding we should also be prepared for the consequences of Lilith finding out the truth about Nathaniel" I said.

"It ain't gonna be easy" Sylvester said. I left the grave yard, I went to meet Lilith but I met Benjamin instead. I decided to have a word a word with Benjamin. "Benjamin... Can I have a word?" I asked. "What do you want?" Benjamin asked.

"We need to talk about Miss Lilith" I said. "If you want to talk about yesterday... I already apologize for it" Benjamin said. "No, no, no. What I want to talk about is.... How do put it?. It about you being too clingy" I said.

Benjamin looks at me in confusion. I forgot I'm talking to a child. I sat down beside Benjamin. "How would you feel if you woke up one day and you don't find Miss Lilith?" I asked. Benjamin looked sad. "Is Miss Lilith going to abandon me?" Benjamin asked.

"No. It's just that we... I mean Miss Lilith came here for a visit and she wouldn't stay here forever. She needs to do something very important but she can't" I said. "Why?" Benjamin asked.

"Well you're the reason why she can't do those things. If you really care about her you'd let her do the important thing she's supposed to do" I said. "I'm stopping her?" Benjamin asked. "Mm hmm" I said.

"What do I have to do?" He asked. "Give her the liberty of leaving and you can come visit her anytime you want... If you give her the liberty of leaving I'd give you a present" I said. "What could that be?" He asked. "You'd see" I replied.

Let's see if this would work. All Benjamin needs is someone to play with. I returned to my room, later in the evening I went for dinner. I met everyone seated. The servants served our food and soon after we began to eat.

The dinner was going well until Benjamin said. "Miss Lilith would you be my Mom?" His question made King Asmodeus choke but the person it affected the most is Damian. He looked like he was being stabbed in the throat.

This kid... I thought we had a deal. Why is he messing things up?. Lilith looked at Benjamin. "What is wrong with you? Why did you have to ruin such a perfect moment?" King Asmodeus asked. "It's alright.... It's no big deal" Lilith said.

Damian looked like he choked on a huge rock. "Benjamin return to your room immediately!! You're such a disgrace" King Asmodeus said. Benjamin rushed to his room. The room was silent. There was a loud bang on the table.

Our attention was diverted to Lilith, she looked furious. "How dare you? You have no right to yell at him" Lilith said. "I have every right. He's my son" King Asmodeus said.

"Son? You no right to call him that. What kind of a Father wouldn't remember his Son's birthday? All Benjamin wanted is for someone to care for him and all you ever do is make him fell worthless"

"You blame the kid for the death of your wife. For heaven's sake your wife is dead move on. She left you a gift and that's your son, you're expected to cherish him not treat him like garbage. You aren't a good Father neither are you a good King. You people are suffering, your son is suffering. How can you call yourself a King when you haven't been a good Father?"

"Do you actually think that it's by wearing a fancy crown that makes you a King? Don't forget the crown doesn't make the King. Now you have three hours to come up with a nice apology or else you'd regret the day you ever walked the earth" Lilith said as she left the room.

"You heard her. Three hours, make it count" Damien said. Wait today's Benjamin's birthday?. "You messed up big time" Silver said. "Although I'll have to agree with Lilith on this one. You shouldn't see your son as a misfortune but instead a treasure your wife left for you and you're expected to love him" Ivy said.
