Chapter 109 {Damian pov}

It was decided that we would search for Asmodeus son today. I'm aware Lilith would be worried sick about the boy, I don't want her to stress herself. I went down for breakfast. Today I wasn't particularly feeling hungry, instead I took a glass of the red stuff.

Everyone was busy eating breakfast, I didn't see Lilith so I presumed she needed time to herself. Moments later, the door swung open, I had hoped it would be Lilith but it was Malcolm, He came to me. "Your Majesty there's a problem" He said in my ear.

"What is the matter?" I asked, I took the glass close to my lips, I was about to take a sip. "Lilith isn't in her room" Malcolm said. I paused. "What do you mean by she's not in her room?" I asked out loud. "We've searched everywhere but we can't seem to find her" Malcolm said.

"Is she some kind of pin that could be misplaced?" I asked. "Where could she have gone?" Silver asked. "I'm afraid I can't answer that" Malcolm said. "The plan was to find the boy... Now we have to find Lilith too?" I asked. "I don't get it, how was she able to leave the Castle without being seen?" Ella asked.

"People say they saw someone leave the Castle last night. The person wore a green cloak" Malcolm said. I stood up with the wine in my hand, I walked to the window. "So you're saying a human girl was able to out smart my guards?" I asked. Malcolm was silent. "Where could she have gone?" I asked. I threw the wine glass on the floor in anger.

"I knew it, I knew she lied" Diamond said. "What do you mean?" Sylvester asked. "When she said she didn't remember what she saw, I knew she was hiding something. I wonder who's coming after her" Diamond said.

"Why does she always do this? Why does she think she can handle things on her own? She would disappear without a trace and it sickens me" I said. "She's selfish, she intentionally wonders off knowing fully well that Harriet's wedding is in two days time" Ivy said. "Shut up Ivy" Diamond said.

"How can she be so foolish? Why does she always think she can handle things on her own?" I asked. Diamond rushed to me. "Damien.... Calm down. Let's not do this here. Why don't we do this in the throne room" Diamond said. I left the dinning, I went to the throne room.

Few minutes later Diamond, Silver, Sylvester, Ella, Jason and Nathaniel joined me. I stood by the window. "How're you feeling?" Ella asked. I didn't reply. "Where do you think she must have gone Diamond?" Jason asked. "I don't know... It's strange, I can't track her down" Diamond said.

"Why would she do this?" I asked. "Well Lilith is the kind of person who doesn't like involving others in her problems. She believes that since it's her problem no one should suffer because of her" Nathaniel said. "That's bullshit" I said.

"That's not enough reason for her to wonder off on her own without informing anyone about it" Jason said. The more they argued the more my anger multiplied.

"F**k!! This is so f**king annoying. Why does she always do this? Why does she think that she could save the entire world all by herself? She doesn't even care about how I'd feel when she disappears" I said in anger.

"Damien you have to calm down" Diamond said. "Calm down? You want me to calm down? How can I be calm when Lilith's in trouble? How can you be so calm about this? Does it mean you never cared about her?" I asked.

"I care an awful lot right now but just because I'm not yelling and kicking things like you are right now doesn't mean I don't care. You don't have to pour your anger on me cause it's not my fault, alright" Diamond said.

"This isn't the best way to deal with this situation. We need to be reasonable about this" Ella said.

"Aren't you the all powerful Witch Queen? Why can't you track her down?" I asked. "In case you must have forgotten, Lilith is half witch, she has the power to make her location hidden unknowingly" Diamond said.

"How is that possible?" Silver asked. "It's only possible when she doesn't want anyone to know about her movement" Diamond said.

"At least can you try your best to locate her?" Ella asked. "I'd try my best" Diamond said. "With that been said, what do we do now?" Sylvester asked. I ran my fingers through my hair, honestly I am as frustrated as f**k. "Get me Malcolm" I said. "Right away" Sylvester said.

Sylvester came in with Malcolm moments later. "You sent for me your Majesty" Malcolm said. "I want you to pick few of our best soldiers. You would go in search of Asmodeus child. I want you to personally handle the case. You'd search every village, every town, every Kingdom and realm if you have to. The boy must be found, Effective immediately" I said.

"Consider it done" Malcolm said. He left. "Now what?" Nathaniel asked. "Nathaniel, I think it would be best if you stay with Harriet" Silver said. "Excuse me?" Nathaniel asked. "She is devastated about the fact that her wedding would be postponed again" Silver said.

"I am not going to just seat back with my hands crossed when Lilith is in danger" Nathaniel said. "Silver is right Nathaniel, you should be with Harriet right now" Diamond said. "Lilith is my friend and she's In danger, you don't expect to pretend like nothing happened" Nathaniel said.

"That's exactly what we want you to do" I said. The entire room was silent. "I have sacrificed everything for you Damien, my love, my life, my happiness and now my friend? You asked me to end things with Joyce... I never complained. You asked me to marry Harriet, a woman I don't love.... I never complained either. Now Lilith is in trouble and you ask me to stay behind? No f**king way" Nathaniel said.

"Nathaniel please now isn't the best time to be throwing tantrums" Sylvester said. "I'm throwing a tantrum? Ohh you ain't seen nothing yet" Nathaniel said. Nathaniel is angry but little did he know I feel like killing him at the spot right now.

Diamond walked up to Nathaniel and slapped him hard across the face. "Get ahold of yourself and your emotions for all our sakes" Diamond said. "Do as you're told Nathaniel" Jason said. "But..." Nathaniel said. "No buts" Jason said and there was a sense of authority in his voice.

Nathaniel glared at me before leaving. I sat down on my throne trying to control my anger. "I think it's best we search for Lilith" Sylvester said. "I think it's best you stay behind Sylvester" I said.

"No f**king way, you asked Nathaniel to stay behind because of Harriet but there's no way in hell I'm staying behind.... Lilith is a good friend of mine and there's nothing you're gonna say that would make me change my mind" Nathaniel said.

What is going on? Everyone just seems to disobey me today and it's annoying. What have I got to loose? I realized it's best to let him do whatever he wants. The thing that troubles me is where Lilith wondered off. If I find her, I intend to seat her down so we can have a talk about her doing things on her own.
