"I'm sure you can make the right decision, Sam. But sometimes feelings involve the heart. You should ask your heart. Are you happy now?"
Samantha thought about it for a moment before replying, "I guess we're just good friends."
he nodded.
"But you and me, I think we have something, Dan."
Daniel lowered back the coffee cup he had just reached.
"When we kissed, I felt…."
"Stop, Sam," Daniel interrupted.
"You said I was sad and messed up that day and couldn't think straight. I don't feel that way anymore and still, I think we had something special."

"Are you sure you don't want to try with me, find out what will happen between us, between a man and a woman, not just friends. I'm sure we can fall in love. We would make a great couple," cut Samantha at length.
Daniel had thought so too.
