At the age of nineteen, Alina did not expect that she would become an orphan.
Her mother had died a week ago, so suddenly — just months after her father's passing.
And in the nineteen years of her life that girl had never set foot outside the small village where she grew up.
Perhaps it was because her family was too poor that Alina never had enough money, nor the chance to see the outside world.
That's what the girl always believed. That she would grow old and then die without ever getting out of her small village. Her fate will end up similar to that of her parents.
Then one day, her distant relative came to visit the girl. And when she offered the same thing to her, Alina could barely believe her ears.
"I know you just lost my mother. My condolences, Alina."
Alina nodded slightly. "My mother was often sickly," she admitted with a bitter smile.
"Alina, have you ever thought about getting out of this place?"
