Upon hearing this the expression of the three of them changed.

"Is it normally done like this?"

The woman asked.

"Pretty much, it's to reduce casualties in enclosed spaces"

"But won't it be better if they just distance themselves farther away from each other"

Hearing what he said I looked at the husband of the woman. He looked like a fit guy probably trains alot before the rift appeared.

"No need"

If it's a normal team of course what he said is the most appropriate thing to do so as to reduce casualties.

But I don't need to do that, I can see what my clones see, if there really is a Monster inside that can kill that clone, it's better not to drag the others with it.

They can just bombored the building with granades until all living inside is dead.

After I spoke the expression of the three of them changed became grim.

The husband looked like he still has something to say but felt a tug on his clothes, when he looked back it's his wife with a worried look then he looked at his daughters and finally choose not to speak.

As I was talking to them the clones already arrived at the door where the dog is.

I looked at the dog in the balcony of the apartment, it's still looking at us it's siliva dripping, it's standing with it's two paw on the railing it's lower body hidden.

Then I looked at the scene of my clone, I can hear my footsteps and my heart beating as I slowly approach the door.

Asy hand touched the doorknob I can feel it's coldness through my cloves, with gun pointing forward I twisted the doorknob.

"Click"

With a click the door opened I looked inside and I can see the dog.

"Sigh I guess I'm thinking too much"

I said as I walked into the room.

"Step step step-sh"

Just after three steps I felt something Sticky under my feet, I looked down and my pupil dilated.

Almost the whole floor is covered in blood, and I can see a bone pile in the corner of the room from my pheripheral vision.

"Sigh, fuck"

I said as I see the reflection of a monster above my head. 

"swoosh!"

I stared wide eyed at my reflection as the familiar scene unfolded. then a looming shadow cast upon me as i look up what greeted me was a mouth, a dogs mouth that was much wider than normal. if you look closely you can see some scrap meat between its teeth.

"you fucking dog"

"chomp!"

OUTSIDE

I looked at the vision of my clone turning dark with a weird expression, aldough i expected the dog to be a mutant I didn't expect there to be another one hiding there.

"lets go, go home"

Just because its a mutant dosen't mean I have to fight it to the death, not to mention there are only twelve of us left. Even if we fight those two we might all get killed. 

I looked up the sun is already decending.

"lets go before it gets dark"

I said as my clones started driving.

"wait what about him. the guy inside are we just ganna leave him ther-"

"his already dead"

I cut her off as I looked ahead looking at the sun at the horizon.

"hey what's that?"

"hmm?"

I turned around to see the other guy pointing outside the car, i followed his finger and i can see a shadow on top of a building.

a bad feeling emerged in my heart 

Then another shadow 

then another

one 

two

five

nine...

one shadow after another emerged on top of the building, looking around they are almost on every building.

looking at them my body tensed and my heart tightened.

"go, go go!"

I quickly ordered my clone to speed up.

as we sped at the road some of them started chasing us while some that are ahead of us started blocking the road.

"FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!"

I quickly ordered my clones as I started firing at those that were at front

"swwwoooosh"

"squiikkkeedd"

"ahhhh!"

just as I was firing the car trembled and almost collided with an overturned car on the side of the road.

there were screaming at the back of the car and as I looked back, I saw the back window broken and a head and an arm sticking in trying to pull on of the kids.

"bang!, bang!, bang!, bang!, bang!"

I quickly fired multiple shots at it until it fell off.

I can see it fall and try to chase again but was run over by my clones which coused the car to shake a little.

"no wonder there are so many overturned cars on the road"

I said as I continue firing.

the car trembled again and and a blade pierced through the roof of the car it hit me in the left shoulder. since i cant use my other arm Iquickly pulled my pistol out and started firing at the roof.

"BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!"

While I was firing I transferred part of my vision to my clone, I can see the thin figure above the roof, it had long swords for an arm and its head is full of teeth.

"Fire at it!"

I ordered my clone as it started firing at the mutant on top of my car.

a few seconds later it fell.

"sigh, wait WH-"

Just as I heaved a sigh of relief another one jumped in the car but this time in the passenger seat.

after he landed he immediately reached inside and grabbed me and flung me outside through the window.

landing on the ground wasn't pleasant just upon landing I already have several bones broken, and as I looked at the cars speeding past me I was pounced on by the horde, the feeling of being eaten alive without feeling pain is strangely uncomfortable.

I Immediately possesed one of the clone in the last car. 

looking at the familiar sorroundings I can tell were close.

" go faster"

after a few more minute were alredy at the protal, and all the mutant are behind us.

"Enter quickly"

We immediately entered the portal as soon as we got there

"you block the entrance with the car"

I said to my clone as i got off the car and entered the portal.
