We are Straw Hat Pirates

"In other words, I can awaken my devil fruit." Luffy didn't care much about Azure Dragon or Kaido. He was simply curious about his fruit.

"Yes, you can." Although Luffy had changed due to his intervention, he was still the same on the inside.

That was more than enough to awaken his devil fruit powers.

"Anyway, we need to get those people to join us. With them, we will have more allies, and as I said before, you need a lot of allies in the final battle."

Liam nodded and explained.

"Alright then!" Although Luffy was dissatisfied, he still agreed.

Vivi, Nami, Usopp, and Chopper were also excited for new crewmates. But, they were also going to pour more effort into training.

They didn't want to become a burden for their crew.

Robin's expressions changed a lot during this conversation, but at its end, she just had a complicated look on her face.

Luffy wasn't holding her hand and was more focused on eating, but she didn't care about that.

She knew how much Luffy loved meat. She didn't care about his attitude. She was just worried that Liam would completely steal her job.

And, even if Liam tried to explain how he knew this knowledge, he wouldn't be able to.

Unless he explained his origin from another world where their world and their journey were just a story, it was almost impossible for Robin to believe in him.

And, he couldn't do that. It's not that he wanted to hide it from her or the crew at the cost of losing some trust, it's just that time hasn't arrived.

He wasn't ready to leave this world. He still had one more thing that he needed to do before he was ready to disappear from this world, from their lives.

So, burying his guilt for Robin, Liam continued.

"So, I will ask Iceberg to keep an eye on those supernovas. Since we have our journey, we can't go and find them. But once they are spotted, I am pretty sure we can convince them."

Hearing that, Sanji narrowed his eyes and asked.

"You are not going to invite all of them, are you? Although most of them are just scums, some have even worse reputations. Especially this Captain Kid."

Hearing that, Liam shook his head and explained.

"Nope, this is someone I want to kill if we get a chance. Originally, I was thinking of finding a proper devil fruit for Nami, and I believe this one is a perfect devil fruit for her."

Hearing that, Nami frowned and looked into the newspaper once again before replying.

"Hold on! His powers are related to magnetism. How is this suitable for me? If it was Sanji's lightning fruit or cloud-type fruit, it would be useful. This isn't exactly a useful fruit."

Liam smiled and replied.

"How do you think Sanji came up with the idea to use Lightning to increase his striking power and speed?"

Sanji rolled his eyes and said.

"Yeah, yeah, you gave me some inspiration, but that was my idea as well."

Liam shrugged and explained.

"Anyway, his magnetic fruit allows you to manipulate magnetic forces. But metals are present almost everywhere, even in the human body. With enough control, you can tear people apart from inside."

"Not to mention, if you train it with my plan, you will be able to access electromagnetism, allowing you to create a magnetic force field around yourself or any object."

"Anyway, you can also use your power to generate electricity which is lightning but is more complex. Anyway, I can teach you these things later."

"First of all, Kid isn't the one I want to invite. My main targets are Law, Bonney, and if possible, Mad Monk Urouge."

"As for others, we don't have to worry about them."

Hearing that, most of them nodded their heads in satisfaction. They didn't want to invite everyone else, even if it was his idea.

After they had finished their lunch, Luffy went to sit on Merry's figurehead while Liam took Sanji with him to meet Iceberg.

Why Sanji? Well, Sanji was one of the intelligent members of the crew. He was also strong and knew what he needed to do in extreme scenarios.

Except for the fact that he left Straw Hats to prevent the death of Zeff, Sanji was a trustworthy and capable person.

So, he wanted Sanji to understand this deal with Iceberg.

The conversation between Iceberg and Liam remained simple. Liam's goal was to connect the Grand Line with Railway tracks that could float on the sea even if the sea level rose by a lot.

Iceberg's goal was simply to connect the Grandline with the sea trains. He needed Straw hat protection since he couldn't get that from the Marines.

He also needed a lot of funds, but since Straw Hats had billions of berries to spend, his primary problem was solved.

They decided to keep the travel costs low to attract more customers. They also added several layers of safety protection.

Although Liam couldn't be there for long, he decided to give Iceberg the fruits of Lucci and Kaku.

As for the Door-Door Fruit that he got from Bruno, he decided to keep it for themselves. If they couldn't find a proper devil fruit for Usopp, this one would be perfect.

He asked Sanji to keep it, just in case Usopp might need it in the future.

As for other sorts of protection, Iceberg and Liam came up with an idea to study and master the undersea currents like White Storm and Sea Dragon Currents.

These were dangerous, but once mastered, people could travel between places in just a few days, if not hours.

Although Liam wasn't sure, he believed that the Red Hair Pirates had mastered this form of transportation, which was why he managed to reach Marineford on the same day he fought against Kaido.

Since Red Hair Pirates had no devil fruit users, it was easier for them and less risky. But for Straw Hats, it wasn't going to be so easy.

That's why Liam planned to contact Vegapunk. He had already given Kuzan his transponder snail number.

As long as Kuzan contacts Vegapunk and learns the truth, he will contact Liam.

Because both of them want to keep the sea safe. Whether it was from pirates or the world government.

With Vegapunk's scientific achievement, it wouldn't be hard to master this mode of transportation.

But, since Railway transportation was their main business, Liam and Iceberg believed it would be better if it didn't get attacked by any pirates.

So, after some contemplation, Liam decided to make an extra contract. It was for Marines, only if Kuzan becomes the Fleet Admiral and sides with them.

If that happens, then this contract will give Marines twenty-five percent of the shares of this business while giving the other twenty-five percent to Iceberg and his company.

The remaining fifty percent goes to Straw Hats, mainly Luffy and Nami.

Although Luffy wasn't the type of person to care about money, he was the captain so he could access this share especially after he learns more about them.

As for Nami, it was his wish. He knew he was going to disappear. No matter who she married in the future, Liam was content with being her boyfriend, even if it was just for a few months.

If he could stay here, then that would've been a different case. Unfortunately, his body parts had already started to vanish. One or two major changes and he would disappear completely.

So, after finishing everything, including the contracts and plans, Liam and Sanji bid farewell to Iceberg and ask him to send Franky to the ship.

"Hey, Liam!" As they were returning to the ship, Sanji spoke.

"Hmm?" Liam glanced at him curiously as Sanji continued.

"Luffy isn't the type of person to give up on his friend. He will not let you leave."

Liam smiled and patted Sanji's shoulder. He knew through all those conversations that Sanji guessed his future disappearance.

"Sorry, Sanji! Sometimes, things aren't that simple. Even if Luffy becomes Sun God, he can't stop me from leaving."

Liam's eyes turned slightly red as he tried to hold back his tears.

"If Luffy can become someone like Sun God, the person sending me away might just be called God among Gods."

Controlling his eyes, Liam continued.

"But look at the bright side, even after I leave, you will still be an emperor-level crew and all of you will achieve your dreams."

"A long time ago, I told Luffy. I am just a person without any dreams."

After that, Liam didn't continue. He just walked toward the ship. Sanji felt like he wanted to say something, but noticing the ship close, he decided to keep his mouth shut.

But, looking at his clenched fist, it was clear that he had something in his mind.

'Even if it is god, we won't let anyone take you.'

'We are Straw Hat Pirates.'
