Straw Hats Versus Two Warlords Part 3

"Hmm! Is this the place?"

Usopp touched his chin and muttered. This time, he had a great mission.

As much of a coward as he was, he would do anything to finish a mission given to him.

So, as soon as they landed on this ship, he immediately tried to sense Perona. Because he didn't know her, it took him quite a while to sense her.

That's also because she was hiding too far away and always used her ability to find them.

He had to overcome ten different ghosts just to find her.

He also understood why Liam gave him this job. Unless their Haki was exceptionally strong, it was impossible to block the ability.

So, even Zoro and Sanji would have a hard time defending against this ability. Of course, if their Haki was strong enough, it wouldn't reach that point.

"Horo Horo Horo Horo! You must be Usopp, Sniper of the Straw Hat Pirates. Did you come to fight me?"

A girl flew towards Usopp and started laughing crazily. She was looking at Usopp with red eyes.

"You are Perona. Yes, I am here to defeat you." Usopp proudly stated, but his legs were shaking a bit.

'She can fly and phase through walls. Will my attack even work on her?'

"Then, die here!" Perona roared angrily, revealing the intense anger and sadness in her eyes. She conjured several mini ghosts that looked unreal.

These ghosts flew towards Usopp and started encircling him.

"Oh no!"

Usopp underestimated his opponent the moment he started talking to her. Those ghosts had already surrounded him, and when he tried to move, they got closer.

"Hardening!"

Usopp gritted his teeth and applied the Haki to his body. Although it wasn't as good as Chopper, it was enough to provide him with some defense.

"Absalom, Hogback, I avenged you." When Perona saw those explosions, she couldn't help but shed tears from her eyes.

She was just a normal girl who loved ghosts. She was treated as a princess here, and she liked it very much.

But out of nowhere, the Straw Hat Pirates came to their territory and killed two of her crewmates without any remorse.

So, she opted to kill weaker members of the Straw Hats. Chopper and Franky were fighting Kuma so she decided to kill Usopp and avenge her partners.

A voice came from the smoke that startled Perona. Usopp walked out of the smoke with some small scratches on his body.

A long time ago, he had awakened his Observation Haki. From that moment onward, he had been trying to awaken his Armament Haki.

After the battle with the marines, he managed to awaken it, but it hadn't even reached the level of Chopper.

Of course, this made sense since he rarely fought someone with fists. But even so, that little Haki was enough to defend him against Persona's ghost explosions.

"To lose someone precious to you is a very sad thing. If it wasn't for Luffy and others, I would've lost someone as well."

Usopp roared and ran forward. His body passed through Perona which stunned her but the next moment, she realized Usopp was going toward her.

Perona screamed and ran towards the next room.

'Hehe! Little girl, you are too easy to fool, especially for someone with Observation Haki.'

Although Usopp felt a little bit about this girl, he didn't feel bad about those two deaths.

Because he felt they deserved it. One played with the corpses of dead people while the other was just a straight-up pervert.

At least, Sanji had some limits. He wasn't the kind of person to force others, but this one was just a straight-up pervert.

Besides, when they fought marines, he couldn't count how many marines died in that.

Most of them were just normal marines who wanted to keep the sea safe. But they ended up sacrificing themselves in a battle they couldn't win.

Usopp knew this very well. He knew he was playing dirty but he didn't care. As he told her, they should fight as a pirate and pirates play dirty.

As soon as Usopp reached the next room, he immediately raised his slingshot to capture her sleeping body.

But the next moment, a large ghost appeared in front of him.

Perona's spirit immediately entered her body, and she started cursing Usopp.

Usopp slowly got up from the ground and spoke. He proudly pointed at himself and continued.

Perona couldn't help but feel speechless as she shouted.

"No, you are wrong. It is something to be proud of. Because this allows my enemy to underestimate me."

Usopp suddenly shot several different ammo from his slingshot. These ammo fell around Perona who immediately ran away from those attacks.

She hid behind a large bear and released several ghosts towards Usopp.

That ammo suddenly opened and released a strange gas. When Perona saw the ammo releasing gas, she didn't even react.

Her eyelids became heavy as she started to lose consciousness. On the other hand, those ghosts reached Usopp and started exploding.

This time, Usopp didn't use Armament Haki. He simply used the Impact dial to absorb the explosions around him.

At the same time, Perona also fell to the ground.

"Tch! Tch! Little girl, you are too easy to fool. If I wanted to kill you, I would've launched an attack on your body the moment I entered this room."

Usopp put those Impact Dials in his bag and walked towards Perona. He picked her up and put her on his shoulder before walking out of the room.

Unfortunately, she met a man who knew Haki and wasn't ashamed of using underhanded tactics to defeat her.

Of course, this was also because he didn't want to kill her. If he wanted to kill her, he had more than enough firepower.

Since her most powerful attack didn't work on him, he could easily defeat or kill her. But he chose this strategy because he wanted to defeat her without harming her.

"But seriously, why are there two Warlords attacking our crew? Aren't they afraid of Liam and Luffy?"
