Time, that is the one thing in this world you can't take lightly. Because when it comes on to time, it doesn't wait on no one. You can't buy it, sell it or stop it. You just have to go with the flow and make sure you cherish the time that you have.
The chance of Zhang surviving is so slim, Because let's face it, the cultivators there were dropping like tree blossoms caught in the strong winds. Fighting of the dark creatures, as they attack the poor defenceless people just like himself. Even Kai, and Zhang smiled at his junior brother's bravery. And that had given him the strength, along with the hurt he felt for Wang May. She was so IN love with Feng Gao, and he used her just to get what Kai had. He had blamed Kai that day for what had happened to May, but he was so stupid then. How could a baby, who doesn't know a thing in the world, be blamed for an older child's tantrums. When that said, the baby was the one in trouble and needed protection. And that is what gave Zhang his strength, courage and bravery. To protect his family and all the innocent people in this conference Hall who can't protect themselves. And with newfound courage, Zhang punched Fong Woo across the face, staggering him back a couple meters from him.
A growl ripple throughout the hall, Fong Woo's eyes blaze with fury. His lips twist into a menacing snarl and his face filled with viousness. But Zhang didn't back down, he eased himself upon the wall, slipping in some blood on his way up. Defenseless, with only his wits and the drive to protect his family, he stood his ground urging Fong Woo to come get him.
"You incompetent fool, who is going to save you now!" Fong Woo snarled, and in an instant he was in front of Zhang. Pushing him roughly against the wall, with a tight grip on his throat. A narcissistic smirk on his face as he uses his other hand to brush away some hair that had fallen into Zhang's face. "Ah so handsome, and brave I must commend. But so foolish and a little bug in a pond that you aren't meant to be in. Look around you, even those who swore to protect you are busy fighting for their own lives or have fallen. The hand he was using to brush the hair away, grip Zhang's face and force him to look at the disturbing happenings going on around him. Almost all of Wang May's guests have been either injured or wounded badly, there are a few cultivators down, with most of them nursing bad injuries. While others kept on fighting Fong Woo's dark creatures. Even Kai, he was fighting like a pro, and he had just gotten into this whole cullivation thing. It looks like he had been paying attention to his lesson and training. Zhang smiled, and tears rushed from his eyes. Silently telling his family goodbye. The aura around Fong Woo became even colder, Zhang can clearly see the darkness of his aura or maybe it's the power from the orb. Zhang doesn't know, but darkness is literally pouring out of every opening in his body, and Zhang's heart sank when Fong Woo's pupils changed to complete black and a small but long snake slithered from under one of his sleeves and onto Zhang's shoulder, slowly making its way around his neck. Zhang shuddered as the snake held its head up, and it darted out its tongue at his face. Zhang can feel Fong Woo's breath on his cheeks, as the evil cultivator inches closer to him just like his slithery counterpart. The snake along with Fong Woo's hand squeezed tightly around Zhang's neck. The force on his neck causes him to open his mouth as he gasps for air, giving Fong Woo the opportunity to start hauling his essence from him. Zhang started to become weak, and the hand that he had tried using to pull Fong Woo's hand from his neck, fell limp at his side. Zhang's eyes become droopy and he can feel the life being sucked out of him, but he wasn't scared to die. Even though they might not have heard, he had already said his goodbye. And he knows in his heart that his family will avenge his death. And with that thought in, Zhang gave up. His eyes fluttered closed, and he waited for death to come for him. Whether from Fong Woo, who is sucking his life force. Or the evil snake, who is squeezing him to death. But neither came, instead he heard a painful cry. And metal ripping through fabric, and he found it easy to breathe again.
His eyes fluttered open, and he tried to move. But felt himself falling due to the weakness left by Fong Woo and that repulsive snake. But someone caught him, and through blurry eyes, he looked up and saw that it was Li Jie who had caught him. His face burned with fury but softened when he locked eyes with Zhang. He used his hand to caress Zhang's neck, where the hand print of Fong Woo and the mark of the snake's body had left a print. Zhang's lips parted, and a shuddered breath escaped his lips. As his skin tingles in delight from Li Jie's touches. It was a sweet little moment for the two, but it was suddenly cut when they heard an angry growl, catching their attention and Zhang saw a blooded Fong Woo with one of his shoulders bare and a huge gash from his left shoulder to his back as far as Zhang's eyes could see.
Kai kicked a bloodwarth from in front of him, before doing a spin kick, and slammed his heel into the back of a Fearmado, knocking her to the open hole he had created in the ground before closing up.
