Weddings, Girls and Funerals
Meg and Jade's wedding was beautiful and memorable but disastrous as well. The human bomb held three or four bomb shells on his body that after the ceremony ended, none of the guests died but Reka was able to contain him by disappearing with him in a dessert place in Texas. Reka teleported the bomber and he exploded cutting off his limbs and all. Reka tried her best to take the bombs off him and asked who was the culprit who ordered him to do kill them. But the man who was already wet in tears just said he was sorry and closed his eyes when the bomb went off and killed him. I felt the pain struck me and read his mind, that a terrorist groups who hate Revilum and her wanted to eliminate her and her kind at the wedding.
The bomber was a member of this groups that killed Winslow that night in Africa. I kept on seeing that a man was standing with a woman and I knew who she was, aha!, she was me, the Reka that I am now and Reagan was the man I was before, before I was cursed by Viktoria.I saved Meg and Jade's wedding and when I came back they're already at the reception and Meg excorted me to rest at one of the rooms in the reception building. She handed me a glass of water and Jade was there to assist me with my minor wounds. She got ready and healed my chest and neck scratches instantly. Jade is so beautiful in her wedding dress and I hugged, kissed her cheek to congratulate her but she was worried about me and advised to lie down and rest.
Which I gladly did and slept until the next morning. I woke up in a bedroom in a sort of hotel and it's Nobu. My head was pounding and saw a little note at the side of my bed to take the medicine and sleep some more. Meg advised me to rest and have a good time at the hotel that they booked for the family to gather and have fun the whole weekend. I was just a spectator there, in their wedding, but as Meg's wife on paper for the sake of Revilum, the pact, she was a wonderful partner and lover. However, I made sure that our marriage wasn't valid since I want someone who loves me and she, me in return. I found that love with Cara. And I love my family now more than ever. We aren't blood relatives but our bond is much stronger than blood.
It's been two fast years that Meg and Jade's child is already a two years. Nate and Janine's daughter is five years old now and Lyka just turned 12 since she was about nine or ten years when I met her and her mom and got to know both of them at Nobu Hotel.

A couple wanted to buy a top and a dress for a special event they will be attending on the weekend. So they decided to shop in a mall in some city. Jim and Sara were two of the founders of Angel's Haven and they recruit girls to attend it. Both are scientists or let's just say Genetic Engineers from a prestigious school in the U.S. It is true that they are a couple and it is also fact that they are scientists so they walked on one clothing store. Two girls about the age of 16-18 years came to assist them. One girl who has dark skin came to talk with Sara smiling while she took the woman's hand. And another girl walked in front of me and smiled asking what I wanted to buy for that day. I was touched by the smarts and sweetness of this little girl.
What, like she's 12 or 14 years old maybe. She is petite and has long black hair, like she's Asian, Chinese or Japanese maybe? I wondered while joining her to the men's section of the shop. Their manager, I think he was the manager, just smiled and winked at me while he reads his newspaper. This place is great but kind of creepy nice. We don't get a lot of inviting people when we first visited Michigan. But Angel's Haven needed students so the board needed to find ways to amend the gaps and short staffed group due some pandemic, and Covid wasn't the only plague that happened in the wolrd that was deadly.
I remembered our researches were always about the pandemics because we, the world wasn't ready for Covid virus that hit us big time. The first and most deadly plague was felt in 1346, Black Death, the deadliest pandemic in history that plagued Europe and Asia. The virus that caused the disease was last seen in South Asia. The epicenter of it was in X'ian China, in between 1346-1347 where the illness came from rat fleas. The plague caused massive worldwide deaths of 200,000,000. in 1347.
Then came, the Great Plague of London in 1665-1666 where the epidemic submerged itself in Thames River, the second pandemic that hit Europe after Bubonik disease last 1331 in Middle Asia that came from rats. The Great Plagues left 75,000 dead in the United Kingdom.
World plagues was already happening from 165 AD-190 AD with Antonine Plague, then the Plague of Cyprian on 249-262 AD, Plague of Athens in 430-426 BC, which started from fecal contamination of water or food containing Salmonella thyphi. The disease originated from sub Saharan Africa, south of Ethiopia. From Egypt the virus crossed through Libya across the Mediterranean Sea into Persia and Greece. The plague entered city's port of Piraeus, Athens. It caused citizens to acquire typhoid fever and diarrhea. It greatly affected Athens society which resulted to lack of adherence to laws and religious belief and among the victims of the plague was Pericles, the great leader of Athens. A medical researcher and professor suggested that the Plague of Athens was really an attack of Ebola virus. 75,000-100,000 people died in the said event.
Hippocrates came into the world and described many diseases and medical conditions. He enhanced the knowledge of medicine and he believed that it was the treatment all in all. Natural treatments was his forte and was given a credit for his first description of clubbing the fingers which is an important diagnostic sign in chronic lung disease, lung cancer and cyanotic heart disease. I loved Hippocrates works and I was determined to follow his footsteps and experiment, find breakthroughs on pandemic viruses, yet, it didn't happen. After Black Death, Spanish Flu came, then Plague of Justinian in 541-549 and HIV/AIDS as global pandemic in 1981-present. But when Covid virus came in 2019 that started in China. The world stopped that until now deaths are still rising in the U.S. and the world. Covid or Novel Corona Virus has killed millions of people through-out the world and counting and there is still 258,896,228 total cases of people catching the virus as of the moment. This virus seems not willing to stop and we still are waiting for it to end, maybe sooner or later. It's already near year 2022 and it still hasn't left the world.
