Speechless

"It's been a while, Ao."

"You too, Yui-nee."

As of this early evening, Ao and Yui are in a restaurant.

"Hey… Ao… can you not call me Yui-nee…"

"Why though? Yui-nee…"

He smugs as she pouts and looks away from his sight.

Well, it can't be helped. As a big sister, she wanted to be called Yui-nee but she didn't see Ao as a little brother, instead, someone she very dearly. A person to whom she dedicated her heart even though they didn't saw each other for 10 years. A person she wanted to be with eternally. The first and last person that she will fall in love with.

This might sound cheesy but that's what her heart shouts.

After all, Yui was the only person he didn't send a strong thought into her mind but she still fell in love with Ao. It can be said that Yui's love is mostly pure because this is something she thought over and over for over 10 years of not seeing each other.

She stops to pout after thinking for a second and said in a low tone, "Do really wanna hear my reason?"

When Ao heard her words, he retract his smug, shook his head, and said, "I won't force you, but I can't say that I'm not curious about your reason."

Yui sighed inwardly as she thought about what he was going to do now. After a few seconds, she took a deep breath and said, "I love you, Ao." with a serious look.

When Ao heard this, he wasn't surprised. After all, he already knew it from the beginning because he was expecting it and to double check, he was reading his mind this morning.

"Are you sure? I know I'm lucky with you but maybe you're confused about your feelings, Yui-nee?"

"I won't answer you until you call me just Yui."

She stern another pout as her hands are now crossing on her chest. He sigh inwardly but didn't make any retorts about it and made her words continue.

"Go ahead, Yui."

Hearing his affectionate voice, Yui blushed when heard this from Ao's mouth but unlike before when she avoided her thoughts, now she is building up her courage to say everything she wants to say to him.

"Now I will answer you... I thought about my feelings for you for almost 10 years. At first, I thought I would forget you when I found out from my private investigator that Tsugumi became your girlfriend, but when I found out that you are my fiance from the elders of my faction, all my dedication to forget you suddenly disappeared and the hope of getting you from Tsugumi grew more likely. But after talking to Tsugumi earlier to declare my war, I was surprised to learn that she is not your only girlfriend. As well as Kosaki and Haru…"

At the beginning of her speech, she gives a radiance that is confident and determined, but little by little, she suddenly became depressed because of the things she found out recently. After her short pause, she continued her speech.

"Even so, I love you. Even if I can't accept the kind of relationship you want right now, I promise that I will learn to accept it... So if possible... I will be one of your girlfriends!"
