Yotsuba's Decision

"Uesugi-san, are you sure you wouldn't want to try again?"

Right now, It's lunch break and like I always do, I go to Uesugi-san's seat in the canteen.

"I want to but knowing what happened in your unit, I can't face them again… so I might look for another job rather than forcing myself on the people who don't truly want to study."

"But—"

"Yotsuba-san, thank you for the support but if they don't want then I can't help them, and also I already quit so I can't go back to teach all of you."

Sadness is something visible on her face and Uesugi can see it but instead of being melted by it, he decided to look away and stand up.

"My meal is finished. See you around, Yotsuba-san."

"Wait! Uesu—"

But he didn't let himself hear her words and just walk away without looking back with his food tray.

Unknown to her, Uesugi wants that job more than she knows.

After all, their father was about to give him additional pay, five times pay to be exact, as long as he can pass them this semester.

The three girls who are in front of her, sigh.

They are the basketball girls club. One of their teammates got a sprained ankle while practicing yesterday and today has a practice game versus the other school.

They don't want to embarrass themselves so they call Yotsuba since she's helping all the clubs here at school.

Seeing her basketball skills today that made them win, they thought to recruit her but as they expect, she decline.

Most of the clubs attempt to recruit her but in the end, she rejects all of them.

Well, they aren't in a position to be annoyed by her answer since she is the one who helps them so they watch her while she says goodbye to the girl's basketball members and closes the door.

Walking around the school, she decided to take the route of the back of the school since it's a shortcut to the other building, however, she saw someone she knew…

"Ichika? Why is she here?"

She saw Ichika sitting on one of the benches and then suddenly a guy who has a can of drink tossed one from his hand to Ichika.

"Who's that guy?"

And then she suddenly remembers the rumor about Ichika having a boyfriend.

"It can't be, it's true? but when we asked about it in our unit she said that it isn't true… Did she lie? No, she's not that kind of person since she is my sister."

In the end, she canceled her main reason, to go to the other building, and decided to follow and watch them.
