Her eyes darted around the area of the Garden where they were at. The whole of the Palace Garden seemed to be a hundred acres. But where they were at, there were patches of colorful flowers, which appeared like hydrangeas and roses, planted on mulched beds with creative borders made of bricks.

Their fragrant scents drifted into Evie's nose. And her ears could hear birds chirping while splashing in the enormous fountain nearby.

It is truly a refreshing place after being imprisoned in the dungeons for a week. But its beauty could not make Evie forget about the man whom she had just talked with in the dungeons.
