Finally, the woman showed emotions on her face. She lifted the fruit and smelled it.
It seemed that she found what she was looking for as she nodded her head and turned to the King, "This is it. I can now make the potion."
Evie was taken aback. 'Is this some kind of magic, too?'
The last time that she recalled a potion was when she escaped and the Duchess of Miteia gave her one to ward off any enemy.
It is not effective, though.
Her ears turned up to listen more to the conversation even though her eyes were scanning their surroundings as if she was not paying any attention to them.
"Can you do it here?" King Adamos asked with his hands on his waist. His eyes searched the area, perhaps looking for any location where they can have some privacy.
"Forgive me, your Majesty. I can only do it in my hut. I need the substances which I left there," the woman replied.
