Battle Of Beta Players (1)

Zoom dashed through the dense vegetation while looting everything in his way, in the middle perimeter the vegetations and trees were more lush and dense.

Bushes filled the ground with countless berries and fruit to be picked from them.

From the average tier one herbs, berries and fruit that you would come upon in the outer perimeter, tier two ones were more abundant.

Zoom felt like he was in paradise as he went into a frenzy picking as many herbs, berries and fruits as he could, these items could be concocted into smoothies, food, pills or can be eating directly which buff some of his stats for a certain period of time.

These would be useful once his parents join him and his sister inside the game, all four of them had decided to meet up once all four were online.

Currently

Zoom explored through the forest for anothet thirty minutes and encounter quite a few daring players like him who have delve into the forest hunting beasts, herbs and ofcourse opportunities.

Zoom would simply ignore and avoid players since he doesn't want to enter a fight because he has large amount of items on him.

Dying in the game doesn't only drop a piece of equipment but also a small percentage of items within his inventory which he doesn't want to lose.

In the middle perimeter in the forest, there were a group of twenty players fighting a giant grizzly bear that seemed to be a boss, three heavily armour plated players stood at the centre taking bear's aggro.

The bear swiped it's two large paws clashing to the tank's shield and armour, dealing a significant deal of damage.

The other seventeen players swarmed the boss throwing spells, projectiles and tens of skills were being used.

A player who held a staff with a pink gem embedded on the tip pointed it to the bear, a simple cast of a spell lit up the gem with bright pink light emanating from it.

Beam

A beam erupted from the gem shooting outwards towards the bear, once it landed nothing of significant seemed to occur.

But if you looked carefully, the bear's sharp paws and teeth that ferociously clawed and bit felt diminished, the soaring numbers of the damage it dealt dropped by a portion.

It's fearsome aura weakened while it's swift and graceful attacks seemed slow and dull.

This was a de-buff, with this in place killing this boss will be a walk in the park for this group.

"Boss, should we attack them now?" It was a light whisper coming from a stout man with plated armour.

The boss he was referring to simply shook his head and continued to focus on the scene, a few hundred meters away, above a small hill covered in boulders bushes and trees there position another twenty players.

They were waiting in ambush to attack the other group who were fighting the boss.

Letting the group whittle down the boss and at the same time let the boss deal weaken or if their lucky, kill a member or two.

Though the fight has yet to start they could already feel the air of victory looming as they watched the group fighting this boss.

"We need another de-buff!" Said a woman in the centre of the group, she wore leather armour together with two short daggers on her hands, they looked tough and sharp, these were better than the beginner tier one equipment that new players had, tier two? Maybe.

Obtaining or purchasing tier two equipment is supposedly hard if not impossible to accomplish until after playing for five hours, but it's only been an hour.

These were beta players, and a group of twenty of them, both the group who were laying in ambush and the group fighting the bear were both beta player groups.

Each had their own logos embedded on their armour.

Beam!

Another pink beam struck the bear gifting it a de-buff.

"It's half HP!" The woman shouted.

Hearing this increased the group's morale, it's half way their.

Unbeknownst to both groups a figure was casually overlooking them from behind the group that was about to ambush the first group.

It was Zoom, he has been tailing the group for few minutes thinking they were going to fight a boss, but to his surprised they were laying in ambush.

'While both groups fight I'll simply loot! Hahaha, this is what I like! I'll just have to be careful not to die.' Zoom had a grin and forcefully tried to contain his laughter to not be spotted.

'Maybe I can even steal kill the boss! But that would be troublesome, It's ten levels above me and I only have a measly tier one weapon!' He sighed while playing with his bow.

'But if I loot a tier two bow and arrow!... That might actually work... I should distribute more points for this.' Zoom quickly added two points for agility, stamina, perception, endurance and strength leaving him with four available points left.

"The boss has one fourth of it's HP left!" The leading woman shouted, she then dashed to a vulnerable side of the bear and struck both her daggers.

The other members followed suite with barrages of spells and skills with a flurry of slashes and projectiles.

Two of their three tanks have already fallen, only eighteen members were left.

With the boss already with low HP, the members with low stamina, mana and HP, the ambushing party finally chanced upon the opportunity to attack.

"They're low! They're already exhausted, no mana, no stamina and low HP! This is our chance, for the guild!" A few hundred meters away from where the boss was, the group of ambushes stood, their leader roared as his voice were engraved in their minds.

"For the guild!"

The members roared simultaneously as they raised their weapons.

"Charge!" Their leader shouted as he rushed forward, together with his group there ran past the bushes and boulders while rushing down the hill, their footsteps caused the ground to rumble slightly.
