Giant's Dungeon (2)

With his knew profound eyesight Gazel was able to track where the arrows came from, it came from above the trees.

Gazel's vision was now purple with traces of mana being blue in colour.

small specks of mana traces were left behind by each arrow.

"The enemy is jumping from tree to tree!" Gazel said, he turned to look at the dust cloud behind them, and a few seconds later Eclipse has returned.

"It's a horde of those mammoth guys and they're hella mad, their eyes be red, I think they're mad we killed on of their kind." Eclipse said.

"Hmm, since the mammoth horde is destroying the trees, with no trees the enemy has no way of attacking us so it's either he fights us head on or he runs." Gazel thought.

Pew! Pew! Pew!

"Here they come!" Nico shouted as the team defended themselves.

'But the mammoths will be a pain to fight!... Wait they can't attack us if we are on top of them! But how are supposed to get on top of them?!... The tusks!' Gazel thought before turning to his team.

"That dust cloud in the distance is a horde of mammoths! We are gonna run to that horde and jump on their tusks to climb on top of them!" With slight hesitation the team looked at Gazel but they also thought.

'Gazel wouldn't do something stupid.' With this thought they solidified their choices and followed Gazel as they ran to the dust cloud.

"Zoom and Quin make sure to defend us from any incoming arrows, Kass use a spell to enhance our defence!" After a short cast the team had a buff in terms of defence from Kass.

A second later the team was enveloped in a purple glow and suddenly their speed hastened.

"It's a speed buff now lets go faster!" Gazel said, before the team simultaneously nodded.

Pew! Pew! Pew!

The arrows kept coming.

Slash! Pew! Bam!

With spells of their own the team shot down and slashed the incoming arrows.

"Haha! This time I didn't place my points on attack but on speed and perception! I'm invisible!" Eclipse said.

The team simply ignored Eclipse and continued on their way.

Pew! Pew! Pew! Pew!

More arrows came but this time towards a single target, Zoom.

"S***" Zoom cursed, with enhanced perception he dodged one arrow and barely dodged the second one but.

"F***!" Zoom cursed once again as the third arrow lightly caused a small slice on his leg.

"Don't worry." Nico said as he healed Zoom but...

Pew!

The slight pain caused him to lose some of his focus causing him to be hit once again on the leg but this time it pierced two inches deep causing Zoom to slightly tremble.

"Zoom you got a mana potion?" Nico said and without any hesitation Zoom threw a portion of the many mana potions on his inventory.

After drinking the potion Zoom was once again healed back to peak condition.

Pew! Pew! Pew! Pew!

The arrows were now faster, stronger and overall more deadly with one target being Zoom.

"I'll block it!" Kass shouted as he went behind Zoom and showed his shield to the incoming arrows but before the arrows could hit the shield they took a slight detour and avoided the shield all together and pierced throughout Zoom's body.

"Argh!" Zoom exclaimed.

"Even with my perception on twenty eight I can't dodge them!" Zoom said as he bit his lip.

"Keep healing Zoom the horde is a few hundred meters away!" Gazel said.

The team kept defending Zoom and healing him as the closed in on the horde of mammoths.

"Get red to jump!" Gazel shouted and once each member was near they hopped and grabbed onto the mammoths tusks tightly.

The arrows that once were trying to take their lives took a pause.

"Okay climb on top of them!" Gazel said.

Once on top of the mammoths the team stabilised their positions as the mammoths were now confused and were now destroying trees randomly nearby.

The dust cloud has slowly settled and they could now see their surroundings more properly.

Pew! Pew! Pew!

"S***!" The arrows have once again struck but this time the enemy has finally showed himself.

On one of the many mammoths stood a black hooded player wielding a bow on one hand and an arrow on the other.

The two sides were now in a face off.

"Damn I can't believe we were running away and were being bullied by one player! S*** that's embarrassing." Eclipse said.

"But this time we will be the ones bullying the enemy not the other way around." Mitsi had a scary grin on her face as she stretched her body.

"Cast any defensive skills you got, Zoom, Quin and me are the only ranged ones here, Mitsi, Eclipse and Kass focus on defending us while we attack the player, and if you can Eclipse try to hop from one mammoth to the other and fight the enemy in close combat!" Gazel commanded.

With smiles on their faces the team followed the order.

Pew! Pew! Bam! Boom!

The team shot their skills and the enemy archer simply jumped from one mammoth to the other.

The mammoth that got hit with the teams skills wriggled in pain as they ran off aimlessly.

Eclipse on the other hand was slowly closing in the distance between the enemy archer and before they knew it the two were locked into a close combat battle.

"Support Eclipse anyway you can!" Gazel said before he casted a enhancement spell for Eclipse to fight better while Nico was healing Eclipse from a distance.

"F*** you! This is unfair! You got a healer while I don't!" The enemy archer spoke.

"Then why did you fight us head on then? If you knew we had a healer why did you try to keep fighting and now that you're losing you're blaming us? Blame yourself!" Eclipse exclaimed.

Eclipse with his sword and the enemy archer with his short dagger, the two were exchanging quick blows one after the other.
