Chapter 9 Chopping Board

Mom explained to me why she was so worried about me. It was just as I thought. We enter sleep mode while integrating with the avatar but this is not the only reason. She was worried that I will not have enough mana to last through the integration process making me stuck in that state until a third party transfer some mana to me.

To understand our bloodline magic further, you need to first know how we can keep an avatar being used and not consuming our mana. It was due to the effect of our magic using any type of energy or fuel to be converted to mana making us maintain this state. An example would be by breathing or eating, that was how mom maintained her avatar activated for years.

But it was different during the integration as it uses your own mana. If you ever ran out of mana, the integration process will also stop and it will only absorb mana again after you recovered mana to a certain extent making the speed of the process move at a snail's pace.

"What can your avatar do? Don't be embarrassed to say it even if it's weak."

"What do you mean?"

"What? You only used a few hours to create one so it's weak right? Even the weakest in our family used at least a whole day to make his, never mind less than a day."

I stared at her with a blank face, speechless. I made a super awesome OP female lead material right here and she says that it's weak? What kind of shit is that, my eyes alone are valuable not to mention my private library, Genesis, it will take your breath away just looking at it's door. She really underestimates me.

Alright, let's just show it to her. She will be awed by my abilities that her jaw will fall to the ground. Deciding to show her, I proceeded to say my capabilities to her.

"I can see a colorful aura representing emotions from people and also analyze a subject's information based on observation with more info extracted depending on observation time used."

"I own the Library of Millennial Knowledge, Genesis, that contains uncountable and unfathomable knowledge that spans from technologies, biology, genetics, alchemy, and more. It is currently placed at a demiplane I created using space manipulation."

"I am proficient in space manipulation magic as I am capable of bending, piercing, and manipulating spatial laws. It includes opening portals, teleportation, and more."

"My reputation as the most knowledgeable being known is irrefutable as I own many titles such as 'Archangel of Wisdom', 'Scholar of Fallen', 'Astral Magus of Genesis', and lastly 'Book of Records'."

Saying all of that with a barely noticeable faint proud smile on my face, I saw my mom doing what exactly I anticipated. Eyes wide open and jaw falling to the ground from shock and astonishment.

But right after a few seconds, her expression change into that of worry. She stepped forward and checked every part of my body before sighing in relief.

"Are you okay? Do you feel anything wrong?"

"No... why?"

"I thought that maybe you got a backlash from the magic. Are you really okay?"

"Yes, I'm okay. I don't feel anything wrong and I certainly didn't suffer any kind of backlash."

"Don't scare me like that, Alice. I thought that you forcibly accelerated the integration process causing your soul to be damaged. There is a reason why I placed the forced dormant state in out bloodline magic."

"It's there to prevent anyone from forcefully accelerating the process by expending more mana than required causing their souls to experience abrasion. That ultimately led to their death."

"Anyway, let's continue our talk in the living room. I think your siblings are awake now and I need to say this to them too."

After saying so, my mom walked out of my room leaving me alone. I didn't immediately follow mom to the living room and checked my status looking for the reason of why my integration process was sped up dramatically.

If what mom said is true, then I approximately needed at least a decade in theory to complete the integration. It can certainly be shorter than a decade but not by much where it will be reduced to a mere few hours.

Thinking this way, I used my eyes to carefully and completely analyze my status panel. Minutes later I found a few hidden effects in the status.

"So this is the reason."

It seems that the hidden effect of my ability shortened the time needed to finish my integration while my INT and Luck stat's hidden effect made my chance of success higher. My soul was enhanced during the process and it resulted in the mana being used automatically used to speed up the process.

Another thing that I also noticed is that I can now make three more avatars using my bloodline magic in addition to the earlier two. It's rather obvious that strengthening your soul will allow your soul to accommodate more avatars.

A few minutes later, I walked out of my room to the living room. I saw mom talking with my siblings in the living room with a lively atmosphere after arriving. Jay noticed my presence and immediately said in a mocking tone.

"Your small breasts became non existent! Haha– Ughh!!"

The moment he said that, I increased the gravity just around him making him lay on the floor. Not being able to move a finger while I stare at him with a blank look. Your mouth has sinned. It seems like my thinking is slowly turning slightly girly, but still the same. I am just offended with his nonsense.

I haven't said this but apparently due to my high spatial affinity, it is more easy to comprehend other elements closely resembling it.
