65 million years ago, The evil Lord Vendox went after one of the greatest power source in the universe; the dino spiritgems.

The guardian was forced to find ten brave and worthy individuals to bound with the spiritgems to become Warrior of the gems

The warrious fought bravely but Lord Vendox and his army of aliens were too strong. Lord Vendox destroyed four of the warriors but the leader didn't stop. Ignoring the consequences, he combined the powers from all the spiritgems for the first time.

The combined power formed a Powerful blaster that weaken Lord Vendox and his army

That blast also had an effect on the leader of the warriors as he was sent into a comma like state and as a result of combining the powers of the spiritgems, the red spiritgem became too powerful for a human body to handle and it was slowly destroying him.

The only way to save the leader was to un-bound him from his Dino spiritgem.

The spiritgems were bounded back to the dinosaurs for safe keeping but alas, an asteroid crash into earth clearing out the world's population to dinosaurs. The dinosaurs went extinct and the dino spiritgems were lost forever.

However, an acient prophecy foretold that in the far future, a great team of Ranger will arise and finally destroy Lord Vendox and his army for good.

Now, 65 million years later, Lord Vendox returned with a master plan to finally take over the world.
