Chapter 47

The rain started to fall, thunder starts to sound.

" I can't believe the rain came down on us so suddenly "

I said to myself as I sat in a small cave and polish Veelzebub blade. Even though the cold didn't affect me I could still feel the chill in the air.

" I wonder what day is today "

I ask, it's too bad this world doesn't have calendar

" Oh, then how long before we reach the top? "

>> We'll reach the top by tommorow <<

Yeah, thanks to that snake I've build a bit of tolerance to the dense mana. As I look out at the storm, I wonder, How Silvia is doing ?

Silvia jumped in the air to dodged the fire breath of a large red salamander and gave distance between her and it.

The salamder hissed and looked at her while sitting on a rock surrounded by lava.

「Mind Control 」

Silvia looked in the eye of the salamander and caused a bit of hypnosis . It turned it's head to the left where it saw Silvia from it.

" Hiaaaaaasssssssssss "

It ran after her but only to crash into the cave wall.

" Your finish "

Silvia jumped into the air and land on Its back and plunge her blood blade in it's eyes. The salamder screamed and tried to shake of Silvia. It started to increases it's heat and blasted Silvia back.

" Gyaaahhh "

Silvia screamed as she was engulfed by its flames.

" Your not getting rid of me that easily "

Her blood sword liquefied and permeated through the body of the salamander.

「Blood Needles 」

Spiked of blood came out of the salamanders body skewering It like a pin cushion.

Silvia jumped off it's back and fall on one knee. Her body was scorched, she sustained 2 degree burns all over her body.Silvia waited for the salamder fall flat on its belly lifeless.

" Finally "

Silvia walked over to it while holding her arm and fall on her knees right near it. She used her hand and absorbed it's blood to repair her injuries. Her cloths was still tattered and her body was dirty with ash and mud.

" I have to become stronger..so that I can protect my mistress "

Silvia said to her self as she continues to advance deeper into the cave, slowly breath the ashy air and enduring the heat as she walks further and further into the cave.

Suddenly, in her path she encounters flaming leopards in her path. Silvia didn't waver facing so many threats, she created two blood swords.

" I'm going to advance, I will advance and you...you won't stand in way "

She charged at them.

The next day arrived and the air got worst. Roselina continue to advance up the mountain scaling the cliff with her bare hands.

She looked below as she to see that she was extremely high up. The ground looked blurred from where she was. Roselina could see for miles on end.

" I can't give up now "

Roselina turned and continue to climb to the mountain.

in the meantime

Silvia walked through the cave leaving behind the pile of flaming leopards corpses on the ground. She pushed forward, breathing heavily. Silvia was tired, thirsty and aslo lonely. She then reach a part of the cave where intense wind tried to push her back. With ever step she planted her feets into the ground.

Both have the same will, the will to never give up and the will to survive.

I just finished slaying another hydra and them more appeared.

" Hiyaaaa "

I clad Veelzebub in my aura and charged forward cutting down another, then another and another. The more I kill them more they keep coming.

It's been almost two days since I came to this mountain and I've get a bit used to the sense mana. My internal mana is slowly getting used to it.

My attacks are landing now.

>> Master.. I gave an idea of why there are so many hydra on this side of the mountain <<

Veelzebub said.

" Why "

I ask then jumped away from a hydra mouth and used blood throny vines to skewer it and a few others around.

After that i gave distance between me and them.

>> It think the being on top of this mountain isn't just a elemental Hydra but a nine head hydra <<

While fighting the hydras I listened to veelzebub explaination. A nine head hydra is said to be a legendary monster, a being with Scourge Class powers. As it's name suggests it has nine heads each with different abilities such as, Earth, Ice, Water, Wind, Fire, Sand, Dark, Thunder and the last is unknown.

" Sound fun.. I'm interested in fighting it "

>> Master you can't be serious ? <<

I nod to veelzebub disbelief ,Going up against such a beast is dangerous right now but I can't turn back, not after coming this far.

「Blood Cyclone 」

Mutiple blood tornadoes assaulted the hydras and shred them to tiny pieces.

" Let's go "

I ran up the mountain at full speed until we came to the very top. There was a large hole at the tip. Like it was a crator or something. It was big enough, about that's the size of about 10 football fields

Seeing this I had an idea of how big that snake is.

Below was dark and I jumped down into the deep hole and can face to face with a sleeping snake. It's skin was black and it had four legs and a tail.

The aura it was giving off was powerful. If Silvia was here she might have been unconscious by now.

" Huh "

One of it's head opened it's eyes and looked at me with green pupils. Soon after all the heads opened their eyes and it woke up.

It hissed at me until it's stood on all four feet. Standing at a whopping 200ft it looked down on me. With Red, dark Blue, Sky blue, Purple, Yellow, Green ,Brown, Orange, White and Violet.

I can tell that's it's two times stronger than me

For some reason I'm not afraid, must be my fear immunity but that's it.. I feel excited.

This is will be the strongest opponent I face so far.

" Ready Veelzebub ? "

>> Ready when you are master <<

" Then let's go...Hiyaaaahh "

I jumped at it with my scythe.
