Tara Summer was addressing the two men behind her, and though George Summer looked solemn, he stayed calm, but Liam Yancey suddenly squinted, and the next second he walked swiftly toward the floor-to-ceiling window.
"What did you say!?" He grabbed her shoulders and forcefully turned her to face him.
"Nothing..." Tara Summer shook her head, her eyes downcast, not looking at him, "I just want to clear my head, for the time being, let's just..."
"Say that again?!" Liam Yancey could no longer control his emotions, his eyes burning with anger, he stretched out his arm, grabbed her waist, and pulled her tightly against his body.
"Liam Yancey!" Tara Summer pushed his shoulders, "Don't get excited, I just mean we both need some time to cool off, nothing else!..."
"Tara Summer!" The man roared, cutting her off, his arms tightening around her as he looked down at her pale face, "...After three days, haven't you figured it out? You care, right!?"
