A Military Doctor Became a Stepmom in Ancient Times
Ning Yue was a military doctor and a special forces soldier. During a mission to rescue hostages, she died from a bomb explosion. Ning Yue thought she was dead, but when she opened her eyes, she had become a woman in ancient times with the same name but a different surname.

She had skipped all those steps, and directly became a mother to two children. She also gained the original owner’s dim-witted father and a body that didn’t work and had hunger pangs after starving for two days. But was that all? Don’t be naive!
“Don’t eat my daughter! Don’t eat my daughter!” The original owner’s father pleaded. “The older one’s meat is too hard, so it needs to be cooked longer. These two small ones have tender meat, so they only need to be roasted for a while. We’ll eat the big one tomorrow!” Ning Yue, who was now being viewed as food, looked up at the sky and said to herself, “Gee, thanks SO much!”

Please let this book be picked !! From the characters to the story background it has a nice developme and the family is just so wholesome and cute ! It’s a nice and pleasant read too.

I keep having this feeling like "read the book without processing in my brain" seriously it is fine to have space and unlimited supply what is that with electricity? do u guys think it comes out of nothing 🤔ML can eat in her space 😳 she can continue eating and drinking in space itself why are u even out just be there itself ML does not work much and she only heal the emperor and gets all support there is not much logic totally waste of time I like first few chapers concept of reincarnation and mother of twins but other than that nothing interests me

I loved the first 150ish chapters. The interactions with the family was gold. Then the more intrigue and world building became prevalent and the MC and ML were spending lots of time in the capital city and the kids and family and almost forgotten. Occasionally MC will mention she misses them. Something incredibly annoying and weird then happened. between ch 280 and 300, the chapters are all messed up. The order is not right. There is no mention of time jumps back and forth. However, things happen at strange times and one minute they are in a cave, the next they are in the city at a festival. It's like they were uploaded in the wrong order. Some things mentioned get resolved and I don't know how. I haven't finished this story yet. So not sure if the mix up continues.

This is good for the whole 40 chapters. The Ning family is united even the whole villagers, excelt for one Liu family there. They only mentioned briefly though, similar with general household situation. Now I'm curious about the next chapter.
