"What? Grandpa sent Crystal to Mrs Mary's school?" Reagan, who had just finished his meeting, let out a loud cry when he heard Jarvis' report.
After attending Marco's party last night Reagan didn't come home, he decided to stay at Jarvis's apartment because he didn't know anything about Crystal going to personality school.
"My grandfather has really gone too far."
Jarvis smiled. "It seems that Mr. Roman really likes Crystal, his sweet and loving attitude I have never seen before. You certainly still remember what happened to all your ex-lover whom you introduced to Mr. Roman before, right?"
Reagan nodded, Jarvis's question reminded Reagan of several incidents in the past where all his ex-girlfriends were treated so coldly by his grandfather. At that time Roman West even openly showed his distaste for all the girls that Reagan brought home, even though Reagan's ex-girlfriend was not an ordinary girl. Reagan's ex-girlfriends were beautiful women who came from the upper classes, from supermodels to high-class artists. But still Roman West's attitude is very unfriendly to them, in contrast to Roman West's current treatment of Crystal.
"At this rate my plan will fail, I really could be stuck in this marriage forever. I have to do something immediately..."
"Do what?" The sound of a man standing in the doorway startled Reagan and Jarvis, both automatically turning their heads towards the source of the sound.
"My coming doesn't bother you, does it?" asked the bespectacled man again, raising one hand in the air.
Instead of answering the uninvited guest's question, Reagan got up from his seat and went straight to the guest with a smile on his face.
"Damn bastard, when are you coming home? Why didn't you tell me?" Reagan immediately hugged the guest tightly. "Are you tired of living in America?"
The guest was none other than Virgo Kane, Reagan's best friend and playmate since they were in kindergarten, smiling broadly. "Yeah, I'm tired of living in America alone. That's why I came home."
Reagan smiled broadly, after being satisfied with letting go of his best friend, Reagan slowly let go of his embrace on Virgo and let Jarvis do the same for Virgo.
"Are you busy?" Virgo asked quietly.
"No, I just finished a meeting."
"No wonder you didn't reply to my messages," Virgo said back.
Reagan smiled. "An old habit that can't be broken, I hope you can understand."
"I see and I'm not mad," Virgo said with a laugh. "I was just teasing you Reagan."
Reagan put his arm around Virgo's shoulders. "Come on, sit down, I want to hear how the life experience of this young professor at Stanford University is. I heard that this young professor became an idol in one of the best campuses in America."
Virgo chuckled. "I became a teacher there, not an actor who was crazy about many women. Don't talk carelessly, I should be the one who has to confirm the happy news from you."
Reagan pursed his lips, after sitting on the sofa Reagan then asked Jarvis to order coffee for the three of them. Reagan even asked Jarvis to clear his schedule this afternoon, he wanted to reminisce with Virgo who had been away from London for quite a while. After the coffee order arrived, Jarvis then joined Reagan and Virgo. The three of them engaged in small talk accompanied by the insertion of memories from the past when they still often played together.
"Okay, now tell me why you only visited me today if you were back in London three days ago."
Virgo smiled. "Taking care of a new residence takes a long time, which is why I just came to you. I also just visited my aunt this morning."
"Your aunt?"
"Yes, Aunt Mary is at her school," Virgo answered simply.
"Ahh..."
"And you know, I think I found my soulmate." Virgo interrupted Reagan's words quickly. "I saw a fairy at the school."
"Fairy?" Reagan and Jarvis repeated Virgo's words at the same time.
Virgo pursed his lips, slowly she took off his glasses. "Yes, that girl is like a fairy. So innocent and wonderful."
"How do you know if she's still innocent?"
"Reagan's eyes, those beautiful eyes told me everything. And I was determined to go after her..."
