After his father and James left, Laura immediately entered the room and vented her emotions in the room by throwing pillows and some decorations on the table to the floor. Luckily the floor of the room was covered with a thick carpet so that the items made of glass didn't shatter into pieces.
"Are you crazy Laura!" Austin, who had just finished taking a shower, screamed loudly when he saw the messy condition of his room.
"Your crazy father!!" Laura shouted loudly in response to Austin. "Your father asked Ariel not to work in the office, he said only Reagan was worthy to run the company and asked Ariel to return to the modeling world. Until when are you going to be silent about this injustice Austin, how long are you going to be silent watching your daughter be humiliated and If it's not considered like this, how long are you going to let that old geezer keep praising Reagan in public?! Are you really unable to do anything for Ariel? Show your abilities as a man."
"Laura," Austin growled warningly. "Behave yourself."
"How long do I have to keep my attitude? How long do I have to be silent watching your father continue to humiliate my daughter huh!"
Austin, who was impatient, suddenly stepped forward and grabbed Laura's neck so tightly that Laura's eyes opened wide in shock.
"Listen to me," Austin said warningly. "Right now I'm not standing still, I'm trying to find a way to bring down that damn child. Don't think I'm just sitting around and doing nothing, you think I'm not hurt to see my daughter constantly being humiliated like that by Roman That cocky West? I'm also angry and want to stuff that old mouth with my socks just so you know, but right now I still can't do that because James is still protecting him. All I can do is keep trying to find a way to get rid of Reagan from this world so that all the old man's possessions become ours, so watch your mouth because I won't be able to keep silent listening to all the harsh words from you."
With full strength Austin pushed Laura's body to the floor until Laura's hand was hit by the shards of the vase that she had slammed down with full force. Instead of feeling sorry for his wife grimacing in pain with her hands bleeding, Austin chose to leave his room by violently slamming the door. Austin cursed angrily at Laura who had ruined his morning that was just about to start, because he didn't want his mood to get worse. Austin decided to go somewhere that for the past few days had been his place to recharge his energy. A place where Laura didn't know.
"Damn Austin," Laura said in pain, Laura frowned when she saw the condition of her hand which was quite severe. The shards of the flower vase that stuck deep enough were what made her feel such a biting pain.
Realizing that the wound on her hand was serious and would be very dangerous if she didn't get proper treatment, Laura then tried to get up from the floor and grabbed her bag from the table. Once out of the room Laura immediately ran towards the main door and approached her private driver who was cleaning the car with the other drivers.
"Take me to the hospital, my hand is injured," Laura said breathlessly as she extended her forgotten left hand towards the center of the driver.
Laura's personal driver screamed in surprise when he saw the broken vase stuck in Laura's hand. "Please come in Madam, I-I'll take you to the hospital immediately."
Laura, who was already in a lot of pain, got into the car without a second thought, seeing the amount of blood coming out of her palms made Laura a little dizzy at this point. Actually Laura could have pulled out the broken flower vase and treated it herself, as an alumnus of the medical school Laura had the ability to do that, but Laura didn't do it. Laura prefers to go to the hospital so that the wound on her hand is treated faster and doesn't leave any scars apart from that Laura also wants to make Austin regret hurting her. Laura wanted to make Austin regret that he had just left when she was hurt.
Heathrow Airport, London.
After going through a fairly long traffic jam in front of the airport due to an accident, Roman West and his men finally arrived at the airport safely, the old man looked happy even though he had only been stuck in traffic for more than twenty minutes. Information about the landing of Crystal and Reagan's planes is what keeps him so energetic.
"We'd better wait in the waiting room, sir."
Roman West shook his head. "No, I want to wait for Crystal in front of the arrival gate. I want to welcome my granddaughter-in-law in person."
"But you need rest, you just..."
"I've been taking a break since earlier, what was I doing in the car? Didn't I just sit down too, then why should I rest again?" said Roman West curtly, interrupting James' words.
James immediately showed his head. "I'm sorry sir, I didn't mean to belittle you. I was just too worried about your condition."
"I know, you must remember what Doctor Gabriel said, right?" Roman West smiled broadly. "I'm fine James, so you don't have to worry. If I get tired or feel uncomfortable I'll talk to you right away."
"Again, I'm sorry sir," James said sincerely.
"Come on, you don't have to keep apologizing to me. Now let's go to the arrivals gate, looks like Crystal and Reagan will be out soon."
"Yes sir," James answered quietly as he pushed Roman West's wheelchair towards the arrivals gate where all the newly arrived passengers left.
Just as Roman West's wheelchair stopped Crystal and Reagan appeared. Seeing the two people whose presence he had been waiting for to come made Roman West so happy, his chest felt warm. Moreover, coupled with the loud screams from Crystal who was not ashamed to call him when there were still many people in the place, Roman West felt a warmth that he had never felt before. A feeling of emotion mixed with joy from the family.
"I miss grandpa, I miss you so much," Crystal said honestly as she hugged Roman West who was also hugging her. "Should grandfather be there, everything would have been much more perfect."
Roman West chuckled. "How could Grandpa interfere with your honeymoon? Grandpa was also young like you, so Grandpa is quite self-aware."
"Grandpa..."
Roman West chuckled, the man slowly loosened his arms from Crystal and turned his gaze to Reagan who was standing behind Crystal. "Welcome back my grandson."
Hearing the words spoken by the grandfather made Reagan's heart melt, all his desire to immediately leave the airport disappeared and suddenly Reagan bowed his body in front of his grandfather's wheelchair who greeted him with wide open arms.
Seeing that Crystal smiled a little, she was glad that Reagan had changed a bit. Apparently Reagan wanted to listen to the input he gave while in Indonesia, but the smile on Crystal's face didn't last long because suddenly a memory fragment where Angeline laughed triumphantly at her mom on the night where she lost everything eight years ago reappears.
Crystal immediately gripped her left chest tightly. "What is this, why did that evil woman reappear in my memory?"
