The Lost Hero Part 2

Alissia smiled as she reached out and patted the little girl's head. "I will not bully your brother, do not worry. In fact, your brother is a hero. He stood up to the villains who were trying to take you away. He truly loves you."

Seeing Alissia smiling at her caused the little girl to blush. She had never seen such a beautiful big sister before. And when she said her big brother was a hero, she instantly liked the beautiful girl because she also thought of her big brother as a hero. He was always there, taking care of her and giving her good things. She turned and looked at her big brother, who was still staring off into space, and shook her head. "Big Brother, although Big Sister is beautiful, you shouldn't stare!"

"Huh?! Jill! Why did you show yourself!?" The young boy yelled out as he quickly stood up and looked left and right. But he did not see any signs of the two teenage boys from before.

"Don't worry. They won't be coming back anytime soon. Well… One will probably never come back. I have no idea how far he went, but the other one probably won't be doing these kinds of things anymore." Alissia explained before asking: "Young man, where are your parents? Is it just you and your sister?"

The young boy stared at Alissia for a while before nodding his head. "Yes…. It is just Jill and me. Our mother died two years back due to a sickness. I tried everything to find medicine but was unable to."

Alissia's eyes grew soft as she looked at the two. The boy was so young, but even after being on his own for a few years at such a young age, he had raised his sister and kept her alive. The hardships he must have endured reminded Alissia of herself in her previous life. She smiled at the two before petting Jill on the head and standing up. "It's decided. You two will come with me. You no longer need to live in this place. In fact, it is too dangerous for the two of you to live here. You two will follow me, for now, to get some breakfast and then some new clothes. After that, we will go punch someone in the face, then we will head home."

The young boy's eyes lit up at the first part of Alissia's words, but when he heard punching someone in the face, his eyes filled with fear. He began to wonder if he had run into a crazy person. "I think… I think we will just…. Wait, Jill what are you doing!?"

Alissia had not even waited for the young man to agree or say a word before walking away. And before the young boy even realized it, his baby sister, who he worked so hard to protect, dumped him for the beautiful girl! She was happily holding the strange girl's hand and smiling away! The young boy quickly stood up and followed after the two girls with a depressed look. He had been betrayed by his own sister!

Alissia paid no attention to the depressed boy as she suddenly found herself in another area of the city. She had no idea where she was. As she looked around and saw the unfamiliar sights, Alissa came to a startling discovery. She was lost! She had no idea where the hell she was!

"Big Sister, is this the right place?" Jill asked as she tugged on Alissia's collar. They had been walking for so long that Jill couldn't walk any longer, so Alissia picked her up and was carrying her. Even if the little girl smelled bad from not being able to bathe, Alissia did not care. It was a scent she was all too familiar with.

Alissia blushed as she looked around. "To be honest, this Miss is lost…." Alissia admitted causing the angry young boy next to her to yell out: "We have been walking for hours, and you are just now realizing you are lost!?"

"Cough!...." Alissia scratched her nose as she looked around. "I am sure we will find the way sooner or later. For now, let's go over there and get some food."

As soon as she said that, two stomachs rumbled at the same time. Alissia grinned as she saw the two little ones blushing and looking away. She grabbed the young boy's hand and pulled him along towards the stall with meat skewers. Luckily she did remember to take some money with her just in case. "Master! A few skewers, please. Also, can I get some water and a towel? I will pay for it all."

The old man standing behind the stall looked at Alissia, who was wearing a hood, and then at the young kids and nodded his head. "Coming right up!"

Alissia brought the kids to a seat not too far away and sat them down. Not long later, the old man walked over with a bowl of lukewarm water and a few towels. "No need to pay me for these. I can wash them after."

Alissia pulled her hood up to look the old man in the eye and smiled at him. "I thank you then."

The old man blushed seeing the pretty face. He now understood why she wore a hood. Such a pretty girl would definitely attract a lot of attention. "It's no problem. Little lady, keep your hood down. So you do not bring unwanted attention."

Alissia smiled and nodded her head. She pulled her hood back down before taking the towel at the side and dipping it in the bowl of water. She then proceeded to wipe the little girl's face. Jill did not put up a fuss as she allowed Alissia to clean her face. The white towel almost turned completely black from just one use. Jill shyly looked down. She had no idea she was that dirty. But what was revealed was a cute little face. While malnourished, if fed well, she would grow up to be a beauty. This was what Alissia thought. She then pulled the young boy to her and began doing the same thing although he seemed more reluctant.

"I can do it myself!"
