Master Chef - [ Chapter - 42 ]
After that I got a message from the guy saying that Dae-Jung would be able to open up his own restaurant if he could impress the three critics that he was going to send, so I told Dae-Jung this.
He was insanely excited but also nervous because he thought that his skills might not impress the three critics, I asked the guy when were the critics coming and he said two days from now.
So I decided to train Dae-Jung in his cooking since I already have a cooking skill, I also created multiple skills for cooking and all of the skills were a part of different countries and I fused them all.
It was now an epic rank skill called "Worldly Cooking" it allowed me to understand all different types of cooking and their styles and I was now able to cook every single food from every single country.
So now I trained Dae-Jung on his cooking while Jong-in and Byung-Ho was just cheering him on, and for the entire time while the critics we trained non stop and after that I decided to check Dae-Jung's skills to see if they improved.
After checking it I found that he learned the rare version of Worldly Cooking and Unique Energy Cooking, his skill would definitely be better than most now, so now we started preparing the ingredients before the critics came.
And just right after we finish preparing the ingredients the critics were outside our door, so I let them in and I showed them Dae-Jung, I also checked to see if any of the critics had some skills.
After checking their skills I found that all of them had food rating skills and food appraisal skills, it allows them to see the rating of the cooking without even tasting it and they are able to see how was the food created.
So I decided to create those two skills and I upgraded them to uncommon rank then I fused them together then it became an epic rank skill called "Advance Food Critic".
It allowed me to see the rating of the food, what was wrong with it, how to improve the cooking and the exact procedures and ingredients used in the cooking, it was a really good skill for rating food and it was better than the critics' skills.
After that I noticed that Dae-Jung actually already finished his cooking and he was about to bring it out, so I used my new skill to check out his food after checking it, it was ranked 4.4 out of 5, it was already really good.
I went to see what the food critics thought and they started talking to each other saying things like, "This young man has a talent for cooking. | I know, he might be able to get a Michelin Star.".
Honestly I was surprised that they liked it that much because I didn't think that a rating of 4.4 would be that high, I thought it was only those with rating of 5 gets a Michelin Star.
After tasting it they looked pretty satisfied and happy as well, two of them gave a rating of 4.6 while one gave him a rating of 4.9, Dae-Jung looked really happy and I was extremely happy for him as well.
They told Dae-Jung of his talent and told him that he has to open a restaurant or he would be wasting his talent, they praised him a whole lot and he told them that I trained him.
Then they started swarming me and asking to see how I could cook if I was the one who trained such a master cook, Dae-Jung was laughing while he saw this happening and after a while I agreed to cook.
So I just cooked with the left over ingredients and when I did that the critics said how could I create a masterpiece with garbage, I just ignored them and continued cooking.
After cooking I used my advance food critic skill and it was actually five stars, no mistakes but there was a few things I could improve, I closed the lid so they couldn't rate the food yet.
And after coming out and showing them, they were surprised because their critic skills were telling them that a masterpiece was created with just left over ingredients, then after that they started swarming me.
They kept telling me to give up being a hunter and for me to become a chef because I could become one of the greatest chef in history and of course I declined but I told them I would train Dae-Jung to be comparable to me.
After I said that they started swarming him, telling him to work hard, listen to me and that he was being taught by one of the greatest chefs they've seen, Dae-Jung was confused because he didn't understand what they were saying.
And finally after that they left and Dae-Jung was allowed to own a restaurant and Jong-in and Byung-Ho that was just spectating was now cheering while not understanding what happened.
Dae-Jung asked me curiously, "What did they mean by one of the greatest chefs they've ever seen?", then I explained to them that I had insane cooking skills and he understood that since he became better just by training with me.
He said after that he was really thankful to me and he told us that once he opens his restaurant he would treat everyone to a huge buffet and that we could eat for free and now Jong-in and Byung-Ho were now cheering for that.
Me and Dae-Jung laughed because that was probably the only thing they understood after that whole scenario.
And after a little while I got a message from the guy again saying that he heard the news and he found a place for the restaurant that was really good.
