True Mission - [ Chapter - 67 ]

Dae-Seong put back his sword as the grasshopper fell down and it's dead corpse was now surrounded in a black aura which was different from all the different energies that he saw before.

There were symbols in the aura and the most visible ones were the skull symbols and so he decided to check out the body more and noticed that he was wearing some sort of broken armour.

Although it was a bit broken down, Dae-Seong seemed to know the armour so tried to remember where he saw it from and after a bit of thinking he them remember it was like the samurai's clothes in the pictures before.

Which confused Dae-Seong and what confused him even more was that the gate wasn't actually completed even after defeating the grasshopper, it was definitely strong enough to be the boss.

So it was lucky that he had the life & death ability which allowed him to finish it off faster than he could've before so it was really useful to have and wondered what could've happened in the fight if he didn't have the ability.

Since the grasshopper took loads of hits from Dae-Seong and they were all attacking it's fatal spots with a considerable amount of strength from Dae-Seong but it wasn't even hurt.

It really was powerful so Dae-Seong wasn't sure how he could fully defeat it without his life & death ability but for now he decided not to think much of it since he was still inside of the gate.

He started to look around the room to see if there was anything he missed or there was some sort of hidden boss or anything and after a while of looking all he found was some broken pieces of a pictures.

While he looked at it, he thought it could be a part of the pictures at the gate of the room so he quickly gathered all of the pieces and started to piece them together like they were a puzzle of some sort.

As Dae-Seong was putting it together, he saw that it was indeed the next part of the pictures, he saw at the gate of the room but he still wasn't completely sure what it mean so he continued to put it together.

When he was finally able to put the pieces together, Dae-Seong saw the story of the samurai that he saw at the start and that he was cursed to become a grasshopper by the evil god that owned the gate.

But he still wasn't sure why there wasn't a portal out of the gate but then suddenly two gates opened and out came Bren and Dalfine and Dalfine looked around and then sighed.

She then asked, "Didn't you say that it was going to be quick? Why are we in a gate now?", she said with an angry tone and as she said this Dae-Seong understood why Dalfine came out.

Except he didn't understand the reason why Bren came out and so he looked at him with a confused face and Bren then said, "Sorry for coming off as rude my lord, but I too curious about our delay as well, my lord.".

After hearing that from Bren, Dae-Seong just answered saying, "Sorry, but there was a monster outbreak and one thing led to another." he explained everything that happened and about the gate.

While he was explaining it, Dalfine asked, "So are you saying that the monsters in here are stronger than me?" when she asked that Dae-Seong didn't even know the answer since she came from a dungeon.

Which was even a hidden dungeon that the system transported him too, so he replied saying, "I'm not sure since this is a gate from a weaker god.", as he said this Dalfine had a smile on her face as she started to stretch a bit.

Then she said, "Well, let's find out who is stronger then!" as she said that Bren then said, "I wish to fight too, my lord." when Bren said that, he felt it was a bit odd being called master by someone else.

So Dae-Seong said to him, "Don't call me 'Lord' anymore, just call me Dae-Seong, Kay?" and when he said that Bren replied saying, "Of course, my lo- I mean, Sir Dae-Seong." and Dae-Seong sighed.

Although it still sounded weird, it was better so he decided to let it be and then finally replied to both of them, "I already defeated everything in the gate, you two don't need to fight here anymore.".

Once he said that both of them were surprised and so Dalfine said, "Well it looks like I'm more powerful then." she said happily but then Bren asked, "So why are we still inside of the gate them, Sir Dae-Seong?".

When he said that Dae-Seong was starting to regret making Bren call him Dae-Seong instead of Lord but then he answered to Bren's question saying, "I'm not completely sure as well.".

But as he said that there was a pink aura that was starting to fill the air and when they checked to see what was happening they saw it was Dalfine using her abilities on the broken pictures.

Suddenly pink figures appeared above the pictures and it seemed like it was reenacting the picture of some sorts and it was definitely more clear than him plainly reading the pictures.

Dalfine then said to him, "This skill isn't to your level yet but your close to it, so you should be able to learn it soon but for now watch closely." she said as she pointed to her aura figures.

Dae-Seong watched the pictures move and stuff and while he was watching, he saw that the person who created the pictures was the samurai himself so he was a bit surprised.

Even though it was surprising the most surprising thing was that, it seemed like he found a way to cure himself and all he needed was someone to help him but Dae-Seong already killed him.

Which Dalfine didn't know yet and so she said, "It looks like we need to find this samurai fella and it also seems like he looks like a grasshopper, so Dae-Seong have you seen him around here yet?".

He started to chuckle nervously as he said, "Over there..." he said as he pointed at the corpse and puddle of blood that could only look like a grasshopper and so Dalfine started to glare at Dae-Seong intensely.

So then Dae-Seong said, "W-Wait! I can revive him although I used up a lot of energy to kill him, if you could just let me borrow some energy from you. I'll be able to revive him, so don't worry!.".

Bren on the other hand was near the corpse as both of them were fighting and as they were fighting Bren placed his hand on the corpse as his eyes started to burn a black and white color.

The corpse and blood started to float in the air as the pieces started to rebuild themselves and it started to return back into it's original form and it looked exactly like how before Dae-Seong killed it.

As it's feet went back on the ground, it knelt down facing Bren as he said, "We should still be able to help cure his curse or whatever is effecting him since he should be alive enough right now.".
