Tanya's POV

I inhaled a deep breath, my heart beginning to pound in anticipation and nervousness as the man unfolded a piece of paper. My gaze shifted from the stage to my lap as I felt a hand wrap around my fingers placed there.

Raising my sight to the owner I met a handsome face wearing an encouraging smile and proud eyes. 'Even if you don't take the number 1 spot, just know everyone at this table is proud of you.'

Releasing the breath I was holding I tightened my fingers in his and peered at my family all here to support me. A sense of calm settled in my being as my heart returned to its normal rate though my palms still grew sweaty.

'I know,' I responded through the link and leaned my head on his broad shoulder as the announcer brought the microphone to his lips again after going through what was on the sheet.
